Halo Headband Halo V - Sweatband with VELCRO Brand Adjustable Fastener

I have had three cornea transplants and almost no vision out of my right eye. I don’t work out but I work in hot environments occasionally. Sweat in my eye is a huge hindrance and very painful. I had been using the little blue spongy sweatbands with the elastic strap keeping about a dozen on hand. They get saturated very quick. A have to stop what I’m doing, get the sweat out from and around my eyes, ring out the band, hang up to dry, put on another. Repeat very frequently, depending on the heat. So far I am 120% satisfied with the halos. I just regret I didn’t discover them sooner. Definitely will be buying more.

My head is 23 inches (59 cm) in circumference and this band is so small that the ends cannot be brought closer than 1 inch (2.54 cm) of each other without having to stretch the band. Once the band is stretched enough such that the ends overlap sufficiently and thus the two Velcro surfaces are properly engaged, the band is so tight that it hurts. The manufacturer really needs to lengthen this band and have a long strip of Velcro on each end so that the band itself fits a variety of head sizes.

I love this headband. I bought it to replace the older model that I had lost, and I am very happy with it. I was worried about the velcro because I have very long fine hair , but it is a type that does not catch! And the velcro makes it very easy to fit over my hair when I have it up, coordinate with my hands-free headphones, Etc. Another Improvement they made on this sweatband over the previous model is that it has a better curve to fit over one's head. As you know if you've used one of these, it is very thin so it fits easily under my various helmets. Horseback riding, bicycling, gardening, works great all the time.

My first experience of wearing a head band, so no comparisons. This has definitely helped keep the sweat out of my eyes during my runs here in hot and humid Houston. As much as I sweat, this was still doing the job after a 12 mile run recently. It may be just a touch thicker than I prefer and holds a little heat in 95+ degrees, but overall it is a win for me. Fits under my running hat fairly comfortably, but on one windy day had hard time keeping the hat on over the headband as the hat just didn't fit quite as snug, so had to take off running into stiff wind.

This headband is too short to go around my head and I’m considered petite. I thought with velcro adjustability it would fit anyone. I would call it defective. Returning for sure.

it has to be really tight to keep sweat out. It also did not keep it all out. I still got a little in my eyes. maybe I was not using it right. It would slip on my head. Finally I made it extremely tight and it helped but did not stop some sweat in my eyes. I will use it because it is sure better than anything I have. Note: make sure it is real tight.I also think it should be a bit bigger on the head for better adjustment

I was shocked, I have a smallish head, or a regular sized head for a petite female but it was tight at first. then I read the tag, and it said to pre stretch, so I did! and WOW what a difference, it's now more than big enough, but still maintains its shape and other attributes. I bought this to use in conjunction with the Fisher Wallace Stimulator, as I found the headband that it came with unwieldy and uncomfortable. I the halo will be a perfect replacement, it was difficult finding a good match, with Velcro, a similar width and not made in China! (Halo V is made in the USA!)

I sweat A LOT during judo and I'm constantly wiping sweat off my face with my gi. This thing actually helped keep sweat out of my face and my fellow judoka are probably thankful as well. My head is 22 inches around and I have thr headband basically maxed out but it still fits perfectly and stays Velcroed.

I've used this so far for a week at work and it's worked quite well. I've been sick lately so I have bad migraines while working and having things tied to my head like a sweatband makes it even worse and hard to get work done. With this sweatband, since it has a hook and loop closure, I can slightly loosen it so my head doesn't throb in pain as much and yet still get the sweat off my face.The only annoying thing about it is the silicone sweat sealing part leaves a mark on your head after you remove it and probably takes 10-15 minutes for it to go away.

If you are constantly troubled by sweat stinging your eyes during ANY activity, then this Halo Band is for you. Now with an adjustable velcro, the size of your head doesn't matter. And to top it all, it has a top layer of reflective material, so that you are visible during those outdoor rides at night.

Much better than their skull cap. This head band can be adjusted to fit your head and doesn't cover your ear (unless you want too but that's your choice, unlike the skull cap), When placed low enough on the forehead, it blocked the sweat from my forehead to reach my eyes.
