This little gadget did the job. I took it out of the box, used it and put it into my tool box. It cost very little, was delivered very quickly, and nothing else could have done the job.

Works great on 3/16" brake line
Cuts 3/16" brake line very well with minimal cleanup required afterward. If you go slow and take your time, the burrs you raise are minimal and are easily cleaned up with a file/sandpaper around the outside and a deburring tool for the inside. The tool is just a hair larger than the Lisle 50000 mini-cutter as shown in my comparison photo. Both cut about the same but the Ridgid is much nicer to use. The plastic knob on the Lisle is slick and hard to grip, but the metal knob on the Ridgid is well knurled and easier to get torque on. Strongly recommend spending the extra few dollars on this Ridgid cutter.
