This is the best thing ever. I have three dogs, a ~50lb labradoodle, and two little yorkie mixes that are around 10 lbs, and walking them all together used to be a complete nightmare. With this handle, though, walking them is a completely different experience. They can't pull on each other, which used to happen when I had two on a double. There is no more dropping of the leashes, which was always a worry. Best of all, no more tangles, for real. I will admit that I had trouble visualizing how the handle would work, and was a bit skeptical about it; but, honestly, it is very intuitive once you have the leashes set-up and go for a walk. It is a lot easier when there is some tension on the leashes, so the worse your dogs are at walking the better this product will work for you, imo. I also found that you have to be careful about letting the dogs switch sides behind you, because then you end up tangled in the leashes. That wasn't as difficult to manage as I thought it would be though, and in the end, wasn't a problem. I think I should also note that my dogs have a thing about seeing other dogs running with people on bikes, or dogs that bark out windows in cars, or basically any dog that is going by quickly causes them great angst generally speaking. So, I put the labradoodle in an easy walk harness as well as the spunkier of the two yorkie mixes in an easy walk harness. The handle is incredibly sturdy as it is, but there was absolutely no strain to it with the combined weight of all three dogs, two in harnesses, in that scenario. I also found that using the harnesses with the two more active/ pull-prone dogs allowed the leashes to have the tension required to use the handle well, but qualified the strength they had as a group so that they weren't pulling me down the street either. This thing is a complete game changer. Highly recommend.

I recently rescued a puppy who needs a daily walk, along with my 13 year old and 6 year old dogs. I always walked my two existing dogs on a double leash with no problems, but when you add a 3rd dog there was no option but to do a double and then a single leash. They would get tangled from the second I left the house and walks were STRESSFUL for me. I started googling around to try and find a solution. A couple of different blogs mentioned this leash holder and it sounded confusing to me but I thought I would try it. I also purchased the leashes the company recommended which aren’t on their website but on a different company’s website. When everything came in the mail I put the leashes on, watched the video (which is very short and doesn’t include dogs in it), and thought well I’ll take them out and try it, and it’s an absolute game changer for my pack! It is very intuitive for straightening out tangles you turn or flip the leash holder, and I do recommend straightening out tangles as they are occurring so they don’t get super tangled, but even then it takes a few turns and twists to get them straightened out! Also I highly recommend purchasing the leashes they mention on their website because they have a bungee aspect to them which helps the dogs have a little stretch in case they want to sniff something that’s a little out of range, but it’s not a ridiculous amount of stretch either. The only thing I don’t like is that the handles are hard plastic and therefore a little slippery, I don’t know if in the winter when I’m wearing gloves I will have to really hold on tight so as not to have it pulled out of my hands. I’m looking into products that I can put on the handles to make it more anti-slip. I also attach my poop bags to it and can turn and flip with no problem. This thing saved my life and now my dogs and I can go on walks and have a nice, non-stressed time!! It’s wonderful!!

We have a 90 pound pointer mix, a 75 pound collie shepherd mix, and just adopted a 5 month old lab malamute mix. My greatest trepidation in adding a 3rd dog was how I would walk all 3. I have been using couplers for the 2 big guys but I've never found one that I liked. The ones with a swivel would invariably get tangled under the other dog's feet, the ones with a sliding adjustment would almost always be just as long as the dog and get hooked under their tails and cause other kinds of problems. Add a 3rd dog on a separate leash and the tangling gets exponentially worse and I don't have a free hand. So I was looking for something out of the box that would make walking 3 easier. I was a little skeptical when I looked at this device but I read all the reviews and watched a couple of the videos and I am thrilled with this product. We just took our 1st walk with it and it is the best walk we have had since adopting the 3rd dog. Not only is it incredibly easy to untangle the leashes, something about having tension from each leash back to me holding on to the handle, rather than tension between dogs on a coupler, has promoted better pack behavior as the dogs are walking. There's less jockeying for position, less shenanigans from the puppy, just easier all around. I can use my free hand to shorten a leash if the puppy is being a little rowdy and trying to chew on her brothers, or to grab ahold of the xollie mix because hes kind of a jerk when we see other dogs. It's easy to pull all 3 leashes back and gathered them in one hand too. Thanks to the other reviews I waited until the handle arrived and took it to our local pet supply store and matched it up with leashes that would fit through the slots. Easy and awesome -- this thing is genius!

First time i've been excited to write a review! I tried EVERYTHING before i bought this. I have 3 small untrained dogs, i tried couplers, multiple leashes, everything. Nothing worked. I was very frustrated. I didn't buy this because it was expensive and looked too simple. I broke down and bought it as my last resort and i was pleasantly surprised. Its so simple, but does the job. untangles perfectly. The trick as they say is to untangle the tangle closest to you, one at a time, then proceed to the next one. It really works! It looks complicated at first on the videos but its pretty natural once you get it. I would have to say this product really met its potential when combined with STRETCH OR NYLON BUNGEE LEASHES. We tried regular leashes and the dogs pulled and bumped each other too much. When combined with the stretchy bungee leashes it really made it easier. I would highly recommend using these with this device. Get different color leashes so it helps you untangle it easier. Only con is its a little heavy. Wish it was a little lighter and little less expensive, however its worth it to me. Do it!

This is a game changer! I have three golden retrievers and they all have different walking styles -one pulls, on walks at my side and one that zig zags back and forth. This has changed my life. I had almost given up trying to walk them at the same time. Nothing that I have tried prior seemed to work. Always ended up in a tangled mess......until now! It is the easiest and most user friendly leash holder that I've ever used. I'm so confused as to why a few have said it didn't work. All you have to do is rotate or flip. Anyone with common sense can figure it out. This has changed everything for me and my pups. I'm no longer frustrated when walking my pack and the pups are no longer frustrated at getting tangled. This is the BEST thing ever! Seriously, just buy it!!!

Unfortunately my dogs are too unruly to use this, I have to walk them with a slip lead. Well made and easy to keep untangled. It is a little too big and heavy but nice concept

I tried this on my 3 larger dogs today. It does work great, and is more intuitive than I expected. I like how you could hold it with your elbow if you needed your hands to pick up poo (or something). I docked 1 star because for the price, it should have grips. It’s very slick without some sort of grip. I would not recommend using it on large dogs until you add your down grip.
