I first came across these at the Hampton Court food festival. Simply you heat double cream although have seen people use Crème Fraiche and then stir in the sauce. The company has so many varieties and I have tried a number. They are so good and if you like steak the peppercorn and Tennessee Whisky is a must. The range of flavours covers meats and vegetables. Apart from flavour they are priced reasonably and take all the stress out of preparing the sauce. TRY IT!

All SA Sauces are brilliant and so easy to make. The flavours taste really natural (unlike other jar sauces) and they thicken naturally. It's like the high quality sauces you would get from a good restaurant. I am so very pleased with these and can honestly say they are the best I have come across on the market today. The "How to..." leaflet that comes with the sauces is so quick & simple to follow and I have had success every time. There is no need to add anything else to your dish, just cream for the creamy type sauces. They can be watered down and used on vegetables to roast in the oven, which is delicious. I wish SA Sauces would produce a large jar of high quality chicken stock for soups as this is very hard to find (good quality) these days. Highly recommend.

For me It did not taste like authentic Diane sauce. I regularly cook this sauce from scratch which is relatively easy. But seeing this sauce in a pot I thought it would be much easier/ quicker to use. I actually added more brandy but still all it tasted of was cream. I was careful not to over kill the cream adding as it went along. I also found the sauce did not fully absorb into the cream and again it could have been my fault. Ok it could be my culinary skills when using ready made saucers. I take note of previous comments rating the product but I’m sorry it didn’t live up to my 70s experience. The flavour for myself was disappointing. I won’t be using the other two small bottles.

All I can say is this company make the most awesome sauces. I’m still working my way through them all. I love the fact that they last week’s/months in the fridge once opened as I mostly cook for myself. SASauces have really livened up my cooking flavours. I’m just about to receive more different flavours, but I must admit The Peppercorn and Tennessee whiskey is so far my favourite. It’s gorgeous as are the many others. Product quality is excellent so is taste would recommend.
