This may be a silly question, but what are the two bunnies holding up to their mouths? The pink and white things? Are they drinking something?

I'm not sure. It's been a while since I ordered them and we used them for cupcakes. Then my daughter took them home. They are some sort of vegetable or something. Nothing weird. They were really cute. To me it looks like they are just chewing on something. Like rabbits do. The real ones will destroy your yard and flowers real fast.

What are the dimensions of the rabbits

They are about 1 1/4" tall. I put them inside plastic easter eggs.

Can these figurines be placed inside the cake before baking as i want them similar to the baby figurines for kings cake?

I used the rabbit figures on top of a cake for my daughter. I don't feel I am 100% certain of my answer being correct, but after seeing and handling them, I would be afraid the oven temperature might be hot enough to cause the rabbits to melt. If they didn't melt completely, the may still begin to melt, and might become misshapen. They seem to be made of some kind of hard plastic.
