Solid and sturdy, easy to assemble. I prefer DIY projects for home nesting so I can customize for form and function. I bought unfinished and used amd saved even more $$. It was packaged well, no damage, hardware came in a little pouch. I opted to paint in a rustic style then a coat of varnish for durability. I suggest applying your surface finish before assembly for best outcome. I also changed the drawer knob to a recycled glass pull. Once it was completely dry, assembly of legs and drawer took about ten minutes. If you didn't get instructions included, it's still easy. Legs go into predrilled holes, then large flat washer against desktop wood corner, then lock washer then nut. Do innermost hardware first, finger tight, then outer then tighten all with wrench. Voila.In the picture I have my tractor seat stool that I use for brief tasking, but my full size caster swivel office chair also fits, as seen in other peoples reviews.Great desk, easy project, happy customer.

This desk is very well made - high quality and sturdy. I expect it will last for decades or become a heirloom piece with proper care. It is solid - not a veneered wood at all. Parts are heavy. Raw wood allows you to finish it however your heart desires - stain, paint, poly coat. The grain is beautiful, surfaces sanded smooth, and no signs of gaps or glue at the joints. We love this desk so much thay we had a piece of glass cut to protect the top surface in addition to the spar urethane finish we used. It is exactly what I was looking for, and was easy to assemble. We are using it for a corner computer workstation.

I rarely write reviews but I was so nervous about ordering this desk after reading the mixed reviews. It arrived today and I couldn't be happier! The top is fully assembled including the drawer. The legs are separate and are simply screwed on with a tool that's included. It took less than 5 minutes from opening the box to have the desk set up. So easy! Packaging was very careful and thoughtful. You can tell they made sure to wrap and box this item in a way that protects the wood. The quality is fantastic- it smells like walking into a wood shop. I was thinking of paining but may just leave as-is since the color and quality is so beautiful. This is real wood, not particle board. Was able to fit a 27" monitor on the desk easily, with my laptop closed on the desk behind it. Was worried about maybe having to put the laptop on the floor but there is plenty of depth to put it on the back point of the desk. Can't recommend enough!

Just put my new desk together...I like that it is real wood, not sure what kind of wood it is? Slats, glued together and sanded. It was made in Vietnam, not a deal breaker but personally would rather purchase made it USA if it's possible. Really happy with the size, works great for where I wanted to use it, make sure to measure your space to see if it will work for you. It was fairly easy to put together, just had to attach the legs and drawer knob. The reason I only gave it 3 stars, I am disappointed that mine arrived with some damage to the drawer, small chunk chipped of the bottom of it and there are really minor imperfections with it as well, little dings. I don't want to hassle with returning it, when you take it out of the box and start assembling it you really don't feel like trying get the thing packed back up. I think Amazon and other online stores should give people a credit or something if you decide to keep the damaged item. I mean you did pay for a non-damaged item after all.

This is one of these great value for the money purchases. Easy to assemble and solid wood. For the money, its a quality find at the best price anywhere.The first desk was received slightly damaged on the surface of the desk and one of the legs. It was exchanged. Both arrived with the tape not affixed to the sides and only a yellow plastic strap around one of the sides of the box. They need to do a better job with securing the box before shipment.

Excellent corner desk. Actually made out of wood. Actual wood. Real wood.Solidly built. Well packaged (good thing, since it is made on the other side of the world!)Likely to buy more from this company.What could be better? An option for a sliding keyboard drawer!
