Barbie Doll House Playset, Malibu House with 25+ Themed Furniture & Accessories, 6 Rooms Including 2-in-1 Transformations

This is a great Barbie house. My daughter decided suddenly she was into Barbies three weeks before Christmas, so I had to make a decision: the Malibu House or the Dream House. I desperately wanted one of these as a child, so It’s like my inner child was at war with itself. In the end, I think I chose correctly.This house is about as large as I would want in our small, two-bedroom condo, and putting it together took us about an hour and a half (my daughter is seven and insisted on helping).I’m surprised by how solid it seems. I’ve already carted it from room to room by the roof. And, you guys, the little details are great. Yes, many of them are cardboard or stickers (placing stickers accurately is the bane of my existence), but these dolls really have it all. I’d love to trade places with them!Side note: In the photos, we are using some items that do not come with the set like the water bottle, the dolls, and the telescope.

My daughter wanted the Barbie dream house for Christmas, but her bedroom is too small and the price of the dream house is outrageous. I took a chance on this one and when she opened it, she instantly fell in love with it.Be aware it ships with a label slapped directly on the box, so everyone can see what it is. We’ve only had to move it once from room to room, but trying to fold it up on itself like advertised, is no easy feat. Not an issue for us, but just something to take note of.Other than that, this is a great smaller, less expensive alternative to the Barbie dream house.

First things first- please stop leaving amazon bad reviews because you couldn’t bother reading the information DIRECTLY below the add to cart button saying it arrives with no packaging and you can tell what it is. Not amazon’s fault AT ALL!Since I’m not an idiot, I was not at all surprised when it arrived today in just its original box- I put it away and I’ll deal with it next week! Or I guess my dad will. He can say whether it’s easy to assemble or not- I am thrilled because I paid nearly 50-% off the list price and I LOVED my Mailbu house so I’m super excited for Lola to have hers! Will update review after Christmas!

My very first Malibu house at 27yrs old — It’s OK judge away 😀I bought this house because I love making little scenes with dolls and snapping photos and I wanted a house to do more things with. For the price I paid I am very happy with my purchase. The Barbie house is compact enough to fit in my one bedroom apartment and doesn’t take up any space in my living room. My favorite part is the kitchen and entryway, but I wish the kitchen came with more accessories like milk/juice cartons. I also wish there were more blankets for the Barbie bedsI’m a little concerned about durability because I noticed that the second floor isn’t that sturdy especially where the bathroom is, but if gentle I’m sure it will hold up.My loving dad helped me put it together, took probably about a half hour.I also love the living room accessories, especially the sofa. I am in love with the pink sofa! It feels premium even from a plastic Barbie perspective. You can tell that they were trying to make a replica of a leather couch.The last thing I will add is that while this house does fold up extremely nicely and compact the accessories will not all store inside. I had to get a cardboard box, small, to keep the kitchen, living room, accessories. Like the kitchen table, coffee table, sofa, picnic table. Thankfully the smaller items like the pan, teapot, plates, cups, hairdryer, and more odds and ends can be stored inside the Kitchen fridge/oven or even clicked into the stove for some… As well as stored inside the nice vanity storage.All in all I love my Barbie Malibu House 👍***UPDATE***After about 6 months of having this Barbie Malibu house the house is still holding up great, and I finally figured out how to store all of the accessories inside, you just have to organize it a certain way.I should have mentioned this earlier in my review, but I am totally blind and I have cerebral palsy which is probably why it took me longer to figure this out LOL. However I put the kitchen table in the kitchen first, then I stack the chairs and put them next to the kitchen table. I put the little coffee table on top of the kitchen table and then put the couch on top of the chairs/kitchen table/coffee table. It’s messy but all stores together nicely. No more cardboard box for accessories!I also picked up the Barbie store it all, pink, toybox to hold my dolls which can be found here on Amazon as well. Just search for “Barbie Store It All” 😂

Mila asked her grandpa for a birthday gift. It came in good condition. Mila and her father were busy and happy for a while.

The media could not be loaded. She LOVED it! My daughter is 10 and has asked for a Barbie dream house for the last two years and I kept thinking she was starting to grow out of it. So, again this year she asked and still plays with Barbies daily so here we are buying a Barbie house. The Malibu house is much smaller (still huge) but turns into a compact tower that fits in her corner. She loves it and has played with it everyday since Christmas.
