SALOMONMen's Speedcross Trail Running Shoes

I have been purchasing these trainers since speedcross 3 came out and they don't dissapoint. The fit as recommended and very comfortable. Good for all round use and good for off road/Cross running. The only slight down side to these is the grip on wet rocks, it's not the best however the grip is really good on grass, soil and gritty pathways. I will continue to keep purchasing these whilst they make them. Would definitely recommend

Purchased primarily for cross country dog walks. Have used in dry and wet conditions and have not had any issues with grip. Very comfortable straight out of the box.

The grip and durability of these trainers are top of the list in this fell runners foot wear marker. Outstanding with all round performance on grass, rock and mixed terrain. Would not recommend for road running 😂.

I bought this shoe to keep my feet warm. I never knew I will gain more benefits than that. Very light and good quality. I will buy it again and again

Used for field hockey on astroturf. 2nd pair I've owned and I much prefer them to hockey astros. Comfortable, great support, don't smell, plenty of protection too.

Proper off road shoe, felt footing was secure on trail run and very light compared to my last off road shoe, so happy

Great Speedcross as to be expected and quick delivery but not as advertised??The description was Solomon Speed Cross 5 GTX but they are just Standard speedcross so be aware. Still kept them as a decent price and it’s my husbands go to and he decided to keep to see how they compare to his Goretext speed cross

I have had several pairs of these, in between have tried other brands but these are the best for comfort and grip. The quick lace is great and secures your foot well.I use them 70% on trails, the rest on the road. The first thing to wear out is always inside of the heel, where the fabric starts to come away. This may just be me (lace tension and how my foot fits) as others have also done this, but this is the only reason I have to replace them (sole lasts week and they have never started to come apart).They last me about 18 months being used 6 times a week.

Those shoes fitted perfectly on my first run. Nice grip in the mud and on the roots. Good for little and big rocks too but got to be very careful when stepping on a wet rock because now you seem like your running on ice. They are perfectly comfortable, I use them in all type of hardcore trails and my feet don't get sore. I run easily 5 km without a problem and I did some walk in the mountains for over 3 hours and over 10 km and still fresh in them too. Good job Salomon!

This is my 5th pair of Salomon Speedcross trail runners. I usually buy a pair a year and wear them practically every day for everything. Note that I do NOT use these for trail or road running as I'm not a runner, so this review is for people who use these as regular sneakers. (That doesn't mean they're not excellent for trail running--I just wouldn't know what to compare them to.) They're incredibly comfortable. The sole is really grippy. It has a fast drawstring lace system that works flawlessly. It also has a laces "garage" at the top of the tongue which sounds like a gimmick but is dead useful. They're very good looking shoes that you can wear pretty much anywhere informal. They're pretty durable; as I said I wear mine almost every day. And I like the gray color which is subtle and goes with everything.PLEASE NOTE: My review is for a pair of shoes that are only labeled "Speedcross." I am assuming they are genuine but the Speedcross series is numbered. For example, the ones I bought replaced a pair of Speedcross 5's. (I didn't buy the most recent Speedcross 6's because the new graphics are hideous.) I'm a little suspicious because these shoes were low-priced and do not have a number. However, they seem to be the real thing (perhaps a version for an overseas market?) and feel just like the ones I replaced. I hope these continue to be available because the newest version 6 is truly ugly and I can only imagine what the 7 series will look like.
