Did not work for me

I bought these to hang some Neumann KM85 mics I use as over-heads over the drum kit in my studio, and they work great.They clip on to the ceiling grid very well, and stay secure. The swivel allows me to position the mics for the best pickup.I'm totally comfortable hanging a couple of $1200 classic microphones from them. They will not fall down.(Note, you need to use the European mic stand adapter unless you want to drill out the holes in these clips)

These are easy to snap on. These swivel as advertised. But the ceiling grids I have from standard Home Depot type store are narrower than the grip on these. So there is wiggle room. I would hesitate to put a heavy, near, capacity item on them since they are not tight. I used them to put up household blankets around my workstation for sound absorption to record audio speech. I produce web training videos on the internet. I strung clothesline throughout the loops and distributed the weight. None of the clips have fallen off despite the wiggle room of the clip over the drop ceiling strut. I bought as a trial as I need more. For my purpose they work, so I plan to complete this project with another order. But I will buy others to compare for future projects. There are others available if you search, none I saw at this low price and swivel.Inexpensive, shipped free by USPS with Amazon qualifying order. Worth the try.[Update]I reordered and Amazon is encouraging me to comment. My comments are the same. The reorder I got is to double up on the tight fit worry I have with these. But the product is what it is, cheap, inexpensive, does a decent job, delivery is fine but do not hang anything that is valuable and break that is heavy or that moves if the fit does not appear tight depending on your drop ceiling runners.
