Great price! Works just as well as Canon battery, holds charge while taking pics for hours :) It was put to the test during Halloween. I wanted a back-up battery to carry because I often use my camera for hours at a time and take hundreds of pics during same outing, so this battery is perfect to do the job.

The battery worked fine the order took a little longger than i expected to arrive.

The company was excellent to deal with, as they quickly replaced the first battery they sent, which was defective, at no extra charge. Was told to recycle the defective battery. The replacement battery is excellent and it works fine, just like an original Canon battery would. (I have a Canon Digital Elph Powershot SD990 IS.)

Have had this Wasabi Power Battery for Canon PowerShot SD880 IS for almost two years now, and it has performed quite well. There were other batteries that I had picked up from other third-party vendors here, but they didn't hold up, so sayonara, into the trash they went when they kicked the bucket. My Canon PowerShot SD880IS 10MP Digital Camera was bought years ago as a backup when it was on sale. Over time it has been banged around, dropped, has collected a few scars, and has been relegated to the status of being a foul weather camera, mostly because this 5-star product is so rugged and reliable. And like an old pair of comfortable shoes, I cannot get rid of it. The only reason that I didn't give this Wasabi Power Battery a higher rating is because the original Canon NB-5L Battery Pack for my PowerShot SD880IS is still working, and it still holds holds more shots per charge than the one that I'm reviewing. There's a hefty price difference, though, so I have no complaints. As a backup battery, this Wasabi Power Battery for Canon PowerShot SD880 IS has proven to be a good one, and on a price/performance basis I can easily recommend it. 8/19/2012

My earlier review was in error. This battery is equal to the OEM in every respect. I have subjected it to heavy use and have had the same number of exposers as from the OEM's battery. I ordered another battery from another Supplier for a different camera, and mixed the two Merchant's up. I apologies.

After several months of use, I see no difference between this battery and the one that came with the camera. They both charge up rapidly and last a reasonable amount of time. As a kite aerial photographer, I take several hundred pictures in a single flight and can't afford to have a battery die in the middle of a session. To extend battery life, I turn off all the power-hungry features of my camera that I do not need, such as GPS.

This battery works well enough as a backup battery for my camera, but it doesn't last as long as my normal camera battery. I don't remember exactly how long it lasts, but it's definitely good for at least 1 day of substantial camera use. For the cheap price, it's worth it.

The worst. They work great for about half a dozen charges and after that...fuggettabout it.

I like the product

The battery life is worse than the original battery units current state. Original battery could do 300+ shots easily when new. This battery is only getting about 50 shots, and always seems to need charging when it's time to use it
