REOLINK 4MP PoE IP Camera, Add-on Outdoor Video Surveillance Cam to Home Security System, ONLY Work POE Camera System and NVR, Third Party Incompatible, D400

I got this for my 5MP system as it's still compatible and these cameras actually have some real advantages compared to the new 5MP cameras. First, these go up to 30 fps vs the new ones that only do 20 fps. This doesn't make a huge difference during the day, but it's a big difference at night. Second, this camera does MUCH better in low light overall compared to the 5MP cameras. I can have night vision off and just my outside lights on and I get a nice, crisp, color image. On the newer 5MP cameras if I shut off the night vision with the outside lights on, the image goes almost completely black.

I liked the ease of install. This unit was found automatically by my NVR. We use this inside a garage. The night vision is good for inside. We also have 4 k cameras outside, you do see a lower quality of this camera verses the 4K. It shows smart motion in playback but not really. If you already have a 4K system-stick to 4K

I have the entire Reolink system. It's worked very well. It's clear, audio is great and I can count on it to capture what's happening. However, a week ago, I noticed I couldn't get my cellphone app to work. It has in the past, but now no matter what I do, whether it's putting my camera over the QR code, or writing in the UID or the IP address, it always says "Failed". So now I can't see from my cameras remotely. I called Reolink's support number, and the guy hung up on me when I asked him why he was asking so many personal questions. I called Amazon, where I bought the unit, and they couldn't help me. I'm obviously frustrated and would not recommend this product.

I like this product but it lacks security. If you are buying this because you don’t want something that leverages outbound connectivity, this is not for you. Support can connect to your cameras if you provide them with the UID and password of the camera or NVR. I didn’t like this so I started locking down the connections. That’s when I learned that it doesn’t send push notifications over the LAN or WLAN. It sends them over the Internet. I blocked outbound connections and the push notifications stopped. Other than the security, which is a big deal to me, the product is nice and much better than the blink system I had. If you have a firewall that allows you to get granular, you can probably lock some of this down to specific sources and destinations.

I have bought several of these cameras, great quality and easy to set up! I had 2 of them that had issues after a little while, and all I can say is that Reolink's customer service is top-notch! They were quite responsive and took care of me like no other company has. I highly recommend them for the products as well as the support experience. Great job!

This is a great camera for the price. Reolink makes some really affordable cameras that are well built. They have a great picture quality and simply plug and play with our Reolink NVR.

We purchased and installed the Reolink POE camera system. We also purchased this additional camera to mount on the front porch. It works quite well and gives us a very good view of the front door and anyone who walks up to it.

This is the best security camera. Love it so much I had to order a few more. It gives you pictures and the night vision is shockingly clear. I’ve spent thousands on surveillance systems before and I have to say this product is higher quality than the more expensive ones. I highly recommend!
