Note it says "one size fits most".
I realize I am in the minority on my opinion of these gloves. From all I have researched in doing the CND Shellac process your hands are not exposed to a high level of UV but I wanted to be safe and ordered these gloves. I use the Shellac process at home and do my own nails. I think they are a great idea but they did not work for me. They are well made and I do believe would last for years. The ad says "one size fits most". They are one size and that was my problem. I have small to average size hands and they were too small for me and come too far down on the finger and too close to the nail. They felt very binding and were too tight on the finger to push them up. I wear a size 6 ring to give you an indication of my finger size. The main problem I have with them is that they inhibit my ability to do the brush strokes that require dexterity of the fingers. Also, in doing the processes under UV light you have to be very careful not to touch the nails before curing. These gloves made that much more difficult. Perhaps if they fit better I would not have felt they were in the way but as they are I felt like they were making my job much harder instead of easier. That being said, if I were going to a salon and having someone else do my nails I would be totally satisfied and could stand the tightness of the gloves long enough to have the manicure done. Someone asked what they were made of and the only description I could find said "produced of licensed materials that block dangerous UV rays".

Nice, satiny gloves- cover entire forearm for protection!
The gloves fit nicely on my hands although the thumb part is short and only covers half of my thumbs and no, I don't have long thumbs. I really like that they made the gloves long to cover the forearms because I have noticed that the LED UV light spills out somewhat. I decided to get these because I couldn't shake off the fact that although I enjoy doing my own gels, my fingers and hands were being exposed to skin aging UV rays and I thought about putting sunscreen on my hands but I don't want to potentially introduce anything oily into my polish products or possibly have it go on my nails, which are supposed to be clean and dry. So I saw these gloves and realized I needed them. So far, they fit well and the finger parts protect my fingers pretty well. For the parts that are a bit longer on the fingers you simply pull them down a bit as you don't want it to close to your nail bed that you may get nail gel polish on the gloves. If the finger parts are too short and you're nit-picky about protecting those spaces between what the gloves cover and your cuticle, you can always wrap that area below your cuticles with masking tape, which I've thought of doing for my thumbs :)

Great UV protection gloves!
Bought these because I go to the nail salon and have my nails done with UV gel polish every two weeks. I was beginning to become concerned with the damage the UV light may cause to the skin on my hands. Some people say it won't cause any damage because of the short amount of time your hands are in the UV light but others say it can age them greatly. Either way if there is a way I can protect my skin I will do it!I've used them for about a month now and I must say they are pretty awesome. They protect my hands but let my nails get worked on at the same time! Item arrived on time and exactly as described. I am already recommending these to my friends as well as trying to get them to convert from fake nail or just polish to UV gel polish :)I will say that I am 5'1" and Korean so I have smaller hands than the average American probably. I know I saw some people complaining they did not fit because not every one has geisha-like hands but I think they'll fit your hands as long as you don't have freakishly long fingers. I will also note that I have chubby little fingers (ring size 7 on left hand and 8 on right hand) and they don't feel too snug or anything, they fit perfectly!Highly recommend these gloves to individuals that are concerned about protecting their hand skin from the UV light of gel manicures!

I think they are perfect.
I recently ordered and used these for my between the manicure uses. I have acrylic nails and the gel polish does not seem to stay shiny after a week and well with a week to go I was not happy. So I bought a light and these gloves, because I read an article about the dangers of the UV lights and cancer. I would have to agree they fit most. I was concerned because I am on the chubby side and I have short fingers. I wear a size 7 ring and I was surprised the gloves fit perfect on my hand and arm. On the first use they were a little snug but on the second use they were perfect. They pull all the way up to my elbow although beyond the wrist really isn't necessary as it isn't exposed to the light. Yes they were long on the fingers but a little tug at the base and my nail was exposed just fine. If they were shorter then people with long fingers would complain that they don't fit. I don't wear them both at the same time as I paint one hand and let it cure then I paint the other. I would mess them up if I did both at the same time. Another nice feature is they are hand specific, the left will not fit on the right etc. The only improvement I can see is if they came in different colors white gets dirty so fast. But, I absolutely love them I will be taking them with me the next time I get a fill done.
