I finally was able to read & listen to Melissa Foster’s Taming My Whiskey. Dixie finally gets her HEA!! Does she ever choose the right man for the job of “taming” his whiskey, Jace Stone! If you like smart, sassy, beautiful(inside and out), strong willed heroines, and heroes that are over the top s*xy, handsome, and oh-so alpha then you will definitely love Dixie and Jace’s journey to forever love. Almost forget, there are plenty of handsome and family-loving bikers with hearts-of-gold in this story as well. As usual Melissa Foster writes a very beautiful love story with lots of passion, angst, emotion, and super loyal characters in her stories. Both Dixie and Jace fall hard but fight their feelings for so long, even before they finally admit those feelings to themselves. Will they finally give in to their feelings to have the love they both want so badly? Now, let's talk about one of the s*xiest voices on the planet! That’s right, Aiden Snow! He is perfect as the voice of any of Melissa Foster's heroes! Wow, his voice is just so smooth, deep, and can bring so much richness, emotion, passion, angst to his characters. One of my most favorite male narrators. Devra Woodward brings Dixie to life in your eyes. She brings passion, emotion, and her voice is smooth and beautiful. I’m certain I’ve listened to her before but did not know her by name. Devra does a fabulous job as Dixie Whiskey. Whether you listen to the audio or read the book I am confident you enjoy Taming My Whiskey by Melissa Foster.

I loved Dixie and Jace’s beautiful secret crush love story. It was full of passion, sweetness, acceptance and love. It will give you all the swoony swoons while also pulling at your heartstrings with all the emotions - expect to laugh, cry, swoon, cringe, grit your teeth and cheer. Jace is co-owner of a custom motorcycle company. Dixie is the manager god her family’s auto shop and bar. Dixie has loved Jace since she was 17 but Jace is not a relationship guy. When Dixie agrees to be the face of his new motorcycle line and goes to NY for a photo shoot, their long simmering attraction begins to boil. On their way to their HEA, Dixie and Jace have to deal with their individual issues and their disparate lifestyles. It’s a bit of a roller coaster ride but the end is worth it. The story included sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, and all the heart squeezing love. All of Melissa Foster’s books have a central theme of family who accept you as you are - those we are born into and those we create. This book is no different. I love Melissa’s characters and families. They always feel like home. And I am so looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Dixie is the last Whiskey that needs a spouse. But she will need a strong man that will stand up to her as well as her brothers. Her and her friend have come up with a plan. There is going to be a Bachelor auction for charity for the woman’s shelter and after all the guys are auctioned off, Dixie is going to get auctioned. Jace has come to town to try to talk Dixie into doing a photo shoot to become the face of Silver Stone cycles and their new leather and lace clothing. But when she’s up for auction he isn’t letting anyone else have her or embarrass. But soon Dixie finds even if she would like more with Jace he doesn’t want more in their relationship. So enjoy another good read in this series and see if these two get a HEA or not!!

After reading this passionate, heartwarming, and captivating pageturner I'm pretty sure I've got a case of Whiskey fever! I absolutely loved the wild ride Jace and Dixie took me on and even though I jumped in a bit late to this series I fell so hard for the whole Whiskey/Dark Knights family. Growing up with three fiercely protective brothers and surrounded by an interesting mix of extended family that believed in taking care of their own Dixie Whiskey was bound to become the fierce and independent woman she was. I loved how sassy, confident, determined and headstrong she was and I enjoyed seeing all of her layers revealed. She was such an amazing character with the biggest heart that I couldn't help but root for her from the first page until the last. Jace Stone was successful, driven and believed in working hard to get just what he wanted. As much as he frustrated me at times I couldn't help but swoon like a schoolgirl for him. When the sparks between Dixie and Jace ignited their chemistry was quite explosive and held me riveted as my emotions flew all over the place. Taming My Whiskey was so much more than I anticipated. I loved the close knit Whiskey and Dark Knights family and the community of Peaceful Harbor. This fantastic introduction to their world has me eagerly looking forward to meeting the rest of this intriguing family and anticipating how their stories will play out. If you love sexy and emotional slowburns that'll warm your heart then take a shot of Whiskey and prepare for one mesmerizing and unforgettable wild ride.

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would! I've loved the Whiskeys right from the beginning. True Blue captured my heart, and the Whiskeys held it close. I knew it would take someone special to hold on to Dixie, someone as strong as she, someone who held family in as much importance as she. And boy, this author had someone special waiting for Dixie! Dixie is the princess of the Dark Knights, and she is surrounded by over protective brothers. She has grown up having to be strong enough to stand her ground, and stand up to those same boys! She has watched her brothers fall in love, and wants that special connection that they have, but knows her own worth, knows that she deserves to wait for the one that will love her, be there for her. Jace is tough on the outside, all business, but he is soft on the inside. He's been hurt before, and has made his life all about work. He doesn't think he wants, or can have, roots. He lives a nomad's lifestyle, constantly traveling, moving from place to place, for his business empire. But Dixie touches something inside him, something in his soul. He just has to let go of that iron control long enough to realize that he, too, deserves that connection and love that Dixie is looking for. Jace and Dixie......their story was beautiful, but also heart wrenching. The anguish, heart ache, and misery these two went through to get to their HEA was powerful. I loved how strong Dixie was, despite the hurt she was dealing with. I love that she knew her worth, and held out for what she deserved. I love how Jace adored Dixie, even when he was convinced he didn't deserve her. These two had obstacles to overcome, and the author had surprises in store for us (!), but in the end, love and family is all that matters! I've enjoyed the Whiskeys, and their stories will always be among my favorites. I'm looking forward to seeing what this author comes up with next!

I love this series and can't get enough of this family-oriented, community-minded Motorcycle club created by Melissa Foster's incredible imagination. As far as Motorcycle romances go, The Whiskeys series is my favorite! There is plenty of hot, swoon-worthy, sexy times. Get those fans ready! But there is more to these stories than sex. Each novel deals with real-world issues, family relationships, domestic abuse, and PTSD, to name a few. Yet, there are plenty of redeeming second chances, heartwarming community and family interactions, and enough snarky, laugh-out-loud dialogue to keep you smiling repeatedly. In Taming My Whiskey, the baby of the family and only girl-child gets her chance to shine. I have enjoyed the glimpses of Dixie in previous books. However, I thoroughly loved getting to understand her character further. Melissa did an excellent job of developing Dixie Whiskey into a three-dimensional, believable person that many women besides myself are sure to relate to. In fact, as I read, I felt like I was spending the day with my best friend. In Taming My Whiskey, Melissa Foster introduces some new branches of the Whiskey family while furthering the story of the many family, friends, and community presented in previous books. Also, there was more travel outside of Peaceful Harbor in this addition to the series. I always enjoy touring New York through my book friend's eyes! Thanks to Melissa Foster's picturesque description of Cape Cod, I am adding to my trip bucket list! After reading Taming My Whiskey, I agree with Dixie, THERE AIN’T NOTHIN’ A LITTLE WHISKEY CAN’T FIX!

I don't think I can express well enough how much I FLOVED Taming My Whiskey, like I had a book hangover for a month and all I could do was read the ARC over and over again. I just couldn't move on from this couple, from the Whiskey world, from the incredible storyline and the EXPLOSIVE CHEMISTRY...like...you do NOT understand how HOT Dixie and Jace are when they come together. There is no panty-melting, they just fly right off, like WHOOPS..see ya panties. IT WAS THAT HOT! Don't get me wrong, the storyline is EVERYTHING!! I laughed, I CRIED (UGLY), and I swooned like SO FRIGGIN HARD for Jace Stone. My emotions were ALL OVER THE PLACE, and when I came to the last page, I just wanted to read it again and again. Their love story was BEYOND what I thought I was going to get, it literally BLEW ME AWAY and Taming My Whiskey has skyrocketed to the top of my favorite Whiskey romance list, like IT'S THAT GOOD! Yes, this can be read as a standalone, DEFINITELY, but WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO MISS ALL THE WHISKEY MAGIC that is there to experience!! Pick up and binge-read all the other Whiskey's and I promise you will NOT BE SORRY you did! They will become a world you want to become a part of, that is how incredible these books are. Melissa Foster couldn't have written this book any better. It was PURE PERFECTION, and if I could give it a million stars I would. It's UNPUTDOWNABLE and literally will give you the biggest book hangover ever! Do not miss Jace and Dixie's soul-touching love story!

I love Dixie. Strong but soft when needed, honest, determined, brave, adventurous, and beautiful inside and out! And she gets the love she wants and deserves from a man she's wanted since the first moment she laid eyes on him. And what a delicious hunk of man Jace is! Jace is exactly the man she has been dreaming of. He is strong, both physically and mentally. He cares deeply for those he loves. He needs to get past a few of his ingrained beliefs to realize that maybe being constantly in motion and alone isn't how he's meant to spend his life. Passion, tears, feels, family, friends, this book has it all. A sister tired of her over protective brothers. Sisters trying to get their brother to see he wants more. Dixie and Jace both have close knit families and their values are completely complementary. This bookiverse is full of familiar faces and more love stories to discover. Wow, this was the one book I’ve been looking forward to and I LOVED it❣️ Dixie has struggled for years finding a real man that is strong enough to put up with her and her independent ways. Not to mention her brothers haven’t helped make this any easier on her either. When she organises an auction for a local women’s shelter for charity, she’s determined to make this a success. When she gets approached by Jace, someone she’s had a crush on for the last decade, she’s surprised when he wants her to help him out with a business proposal😳 What a great story, the Whiskeys and the Stones are such great characters that I felt like I was a part of this journey. Melissa is a fantastic author as the emotion just pours out of the pages and the writing flows sooooo beautifully🙌 I could honestly picture something like this happening😁 Super excited to finish this series and jump into the Bayside Wicked stories.

All of Melissa Foster's leading men are swoon worthy. Jace has the requisite alpha ness, the looks, the brain and oh my God! the sexiness. Add in his maturity and experience, and he has a hot place of honor in this reader's daydreams, night fantasies and stolen nap times ;))

For as much as I love the Whiskey men in all their sexy, alpha, goodness - I admire the (skin tight) pants off of Dixie Lee Whiskey. Strong, powerful, soft and feminine. She is a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately so are her brothers and every single Dark Knight, who protects her like the sister, friend, MC princess that she is. Except Dixie doesn’t need or want their help. She wants what her parents and brothers have - someone to love and be loved by. There are a ton of men who want her, but not enough to fight for her. Not until, that is, Jace Stone. Jace is a complicated man. He has money, power and family but what he doesn’t have is the right woman. When he finally see’s his future and what’s been missing from his life, he moves heaven and earth to nail down the badass woman of his dirty dreams. Even though they captured each other’s hearts years ago Jace Stone and Dixie Whiskey have never acted on their attraction. I have been waiting to read Dixie’s story. We have had the chance to get to know Dixie and her beauty through the brothers books and now we get to watch her finally get her story. And what a story it was. The emotions where out of bounds. I laughed with her, cried, and rejoiced. If you love this family like this author has made us, then this is a must read.
