Holton Farkas French Horn Mouthpiece (H2850MC)

Love these for young players! You can cover the whole range of the horn, and it's very comfortable.

Perfect all purpose mouthpiece. I grew up playing one of these in the 90’s, and just finally bought a horn and immediately ordered. If you have a student learning, do them a favor and order one.

My French Horn came with an economy mouthpiece which was okay. The Holten mouthpiece is more comfortable and allows greater ease at hitting the higher notes. Quality product with an improved aesthetic appearance.

It’s a good mouthpiece for a high school student and is really easy to play. It’s a really good upgrade from your B-Stock mouthpiece that comes with your instrument.

There are many knock offs of this mouthpiece. But there is only one HF MC. An excellent mouthpiece with a versatile 4 octave range.

This is a heavy duty mouthpiece and was suggested by my daughters band director. It didn’t make her sound better but that is “operator error”. Can put lipstick on a pig but doesn’t make them a supermodel. I’m sure the product is fabulous!!

I bought this for my daughter for band, and it works great! When I went to the music store, this exact mouthpiece was 85$.

ブルーノティルツのマックウィリアム1番、2番、3番を使っていましたが、それよりも高音が鳴りやすいし、深い音です。低音も、よく鳴ります。ヤマハの30C4に代表されるヤマハのマッピもいくつか使いましたが、ホルトンMCは、それより深い音で、なおかつ高音も出やすく、吹き続けても疲れません。アレキサンダーの8番よりも、同じ理由で良いです。

This is a well known product and it works splendidly. French horns are hard instruments to play and the mouthpiece is critical to successful tone, tuning and playing.

ティルツのもう一回りボアの細いものを使っていましたがＭＣに替えて音全体が太く力強く変わりました。高音域（上のＦの周辺）が難しくなるかなと最初吹いた時感じましたがその心配もすぐなくなりました。ＤＣほど太くないのですんなり移行できるマウスピースだと思います。 音の太さと芯と高音域での対応で悩んでいる方（もちろん低音域も）にお勧めと思います。
