Purchased this extension cable to upgrade the factory radio in my Mini Cooper Countryman, and it was exactly what I needed. The build quality is excellent, the Fakra connectors snap together securely, and the signal is crystal clear. If you are doing an aftermarket head unit install on an R60/Mini and need that extra reach or adaptation, this is high-quality and works perfectly. Highly recommend!

After installing a new cap on my pickup that required replacing the tail gate, I had to relocate the backup camera to the top of the cap. I found a kit online that had the extension cable and an enclosure for the camera for about $150. Then I read in a forum that the necessary Fakra Z cable alone was available for about $15. I purchased this cable and fabricated a camera enclosure, saving myself over $100. The cable works great.

This is a high quality cable that fit perfectly adding a rearview mirror camera to the rear of my pickup canopy. This permits restoration of the blocked camera on the rear of the cab from a pickup canopy cover.

I seldom take the time to write reviews but this deserves a shout out. The camera cable for the rear view camera on my 2019 RAM 1500 Laramie developed a crack/break in the cable. My camera stopped working and luckily I tore into the wiring for the tailgate and discovered the camera cable broke inside of the housing of the cable. Cut the housing and could see the crack in the plastic that surrounds the wire. Attempts at a splice failed. Tried to order a cable from MOPAR online parts and was informed they don't know when that part might be back in stock/available and on top of that the cost was $38.00. Found this cable on Amazon, read the customers reviews, and purchased one. It works perfectly and I could not be happier!

My Chrysler 200 convertible lost its ability to receive am and fm. Thought it was hopeless until I found this. Found the weak link between the the antenna and the cabin and swapped this in place- problem solved.

I got a new radio for my car that is sirius xm ready. The line for the original antenna is in the trunk for 09 pontiac g5 and I didn't want to have a second antenna on my car, so this long extension helped. Both ends have plastic connector that worked good for the original line connection. But for an aftermarket stereo, you will need to get a satellite radio tuner to hook it up. That tuner will not work with the plastic connector and I had to carefully break it off without damaging the main connection point inside. You don't need that plastic on there anyway since the main connectors fit tightly with each other and won't come loose short of pulling them apart

I bought an aftermarket 'Tesla' style head unit for my truck and was told by the vendor that I couldn't reuse the factory GPS antenna with it and .maintain the clean factory look, and would have to install theirs on the dash. They were wrong - this adapter cable works fine. It likely works with many different types of Android head units.
