I purchased the owl pattern for my 5 year old and the giraffe pattern for my 11 year old for a trip to grandma's this coming summer. After arrival, I inspected the pieces thoroughly and found them to be well made. The goal is to take only a carry-on and a personal bag each so we don't have to pay extra luggage fees. I did a pre-packing run to make sure how much we could fit inside and I was very happy.... So happy in fact, that I decided to order a set for myself too. I pack by laying out my pants and shirts on top of each other, folding them in half, and rolling them together. I find that I fit far more in my bag that way. Here is what I fit inside the main area for myself without expanding the zipper for the extra 2 inches of room: 2 pairs of jeans 3 pair of mid calf capri pants 5 shirts 1 dress 3 bras 5 underwear 1 pair sandals 1 pair dress flats 1 pair Nike running shoes 1 swimming suit 1 beach cover-up In the small outer pockets I packed: 5 pair socks 3 camis 1 slip In the smaller personal bag, I fit my 11 inch laptop in the large front pocket. In the main area, I fit the following: make-up, curling iron, deodorant, toothpaste, electric toothbrush with its charger, phone and charger, travel size wet wipes and Kleenex packets, wallet, keys, snacks and a water bottle. There is a zippered long narrow pocket on the other side of the personal bag that is the perfect size in which to put your boarding pass. There is also a nice wide strap to loop over the handle of the carry-on so both bags can be pull transported through the airport. I rolled the bags all around my house on carpet and hardwood to test the wheels. They functioned smoothly. I parked the bag free standing and fully packed. It remained upright. Some reviewers have said their bags tipped over when packed. Maybe it depends on what you have inside and how it is packed. I fly Delta and the fee for checked bags is $25 each way so a round trip would cost $50. You are allowed one carry-on and a personal item for free. I paid $29 for the owl print set, $35 for the giraffe print set, and $29 for the solid purple set I bought for myself. I know these will last many trips for my girls and I so it was definately worth the pittance of a price for these new luggage sets. I come out $1 cheaper after tax and with my free prime shipping ordering all of these than I would have to check 2 bigger bags. I packed enough clothes for each of us for a week. I actually could fit two weeks worth of clothes for my 5 year old since her things are smaller. We are staying 3 weeks at grandma's house so we do laundrythere. I'd much rather have the pretty new luggage for the price than to pack extra clothes and pay for the bag fee. The way I figure it, even if we buy extra stuff there that won't fit on the way back, it's cheaper to mail it back in a priority mail one rate box than to pay luggage fees. I am very happy with my purchase and think you will be as well.

I got the houndstooth pattern, and it's really cute in person. The white in the pattern doesn't look truly white, but for the price I can't say I care too much. Just needed a cheap carry on set that will get me to California and back to see my mom. Looks spacious enough to do the trick. My only complaint is the expandable handle seems.... kind of flimsy. Hopefully it doesn't cause me any problems on my trip. Traveling is stressful enough without luggage malfunctions! The small bag is really nice. Looks big enough to fit my copy of Brandon Sanderson's Words of Radiance, my tablet, and any other goodies I'll have along. I'm glad to know I at least won't be bored on my 6+ hour flight this Thanksgiving!! *Update 12/29*: The carry on set made it to California and back to Wisconsin without a hitch. I literally carried Brandon Sanderson's Words of Radiance AND his new book Oathbringer (got it as a gift while in Cali), AS WELL as another small book and a tablet all in that small handbag. Holy pies, that was a crazy amount of strain to put on a cheapo traveling bag. Ok, so for context because maybe some of you who aren't huge fantasy readers might not understand how impressive that is, but Words of Radiance and Oathbringer are literally over 1,000 page books EACH. So... 2 massive books, a 350 page book and a tablet all managed to fit into that thing without issue. And I also had my wallet and other odds and ends in it too. If you're surprised, trust me, so was I. I was worried I was going to have to ask my mom to ship some things back to my place for me. My only complaint is that the bag would sometimes slip off of if you put it on top of the carry on with rollers. Which is kind of lame, but I'm not sure if it could be helped..? Also the strap on it was weird and not very long, so I couldn't find a way to comfortably throw it over my shoulders instead. The handle was still wobbly throughout the whole trip. But it worked. And didn't break, which was kind of surprising considering the.. you know... massive books I keep mentioning haha. Anyway, still really impressed with this set, and I would still wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a small luggage set on a budget.

I’m really happy with this suitcase! It looks beautiful, feels sturdy, and has plenty of space for everything I need. The wheels roll smoothly, and it’s easy to carry and maneuver. Overall, it’s a great suitcase for the price, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

I am not much of a traveller. I haven't been on a plane in several years. I have watched TV segments of how chaotic airports can be, the long check- in lines, the luggage debacles and even the nasty and sometimes scary episodes of passengers on a plane. I doubt if I ever choose to fly again, but after retirement, I plan on taking fairly short jaunts in my car. When I got out my luggage, I realized how bulky and heavy it was. And no wheels on any of it. I knew I was really behind the times. I thought it is time to get some new luggage. I searched on Amazon first. I found exactly what I wanted and at a sale price. The dark purple was as pictured and it was really pretty. And it had wheels, which I had never had before. This luggage seems to be of good quality. It is lightweight with two small zippered pockets on the outside and a large zippered mesh pocket on the inside. It has two straps to hold your clothes down so they don't get jostled around. The smaller bag will hold my make-up and possibly an extra pair of shoes. It zips with a velcro closure to hold the handles together along with a shoulder strap. If you arecfkying it is the perfect size for a carry-on and will fit comfortably in the overhead compartments. Most women would probably think this is not big enough for their travel needs. But since I will only be taking overnight or weekend trips, it will be great. I have found in the past that when I do take short trips and I am going to be driving, I take several tote bags, more shoes than I need and more clothes than I need. I know I do it simply because I have the space. But I thought it would be less frustrating to cut back on the items I take. Now I will carefully pick out a few outfits, rather than a whole week's worth. I always think I might need them, but you know what I never do. Sometimes less is more. I always found myself wasting time trying to decide among many outfits which added more stress. So with these 2 pieces, it will take less time packing, less time dragging a bunch of luggage to my room and take up less space in my car. Nowadays it is not good to leave anything in your car even if it is locked. I want to enjoy my time away and not make it a luggage chore. I did look at the hard shell luggage as well, but since it won't be stored in the luggage compartment of a plane, it wasn't necessary to spend the extra money. So if you want a nice 2 pc set of luggage for those short overnight trips, this is for you. You also have the option of buying 4 pc sets as well. So happy traveling and enjoy!

I purchased these in two colors for a trip that we did not want to deal with checked luggage. The Turquoise looked very cute online and is typically my favorite color, but it was a bit plain in person. Not a huge drawback, but not as cute as I was hoping for. The Black Cross was extremely cute and made me wish I had chosen it or one of the fun prints. They both held a good five days of clothes for a beach vacation (for two women) very well, and we especially liked the flap at the back of the smaller bag that you hang over the extended handle of the larger bag to keep the pieces together with no falling or slipping. Don't forget to use this as it was a life saver even if it does make the bag front heavy so that it falls forward. Just turn it to face the wall or something steady so it doesn't fall. The zippers worked well enough with only a couple of catches and the extender worked well and would still fit in most larger airplane overhead bins if fully extended. However, there were a few things that I did not like about the bags that may impact your wanting to buy one. On one of the larger bags, the locks that came with them were 100% useless. No joke. They are simply there for looks. There were two keys attached, but the bottom of the lock had no fitting space for the keys. It was just a messed up lock that couldn't even be opened to make it appear the bag was locked. Second, the handle on the other large back worked well for the first half of our travel, but on the way home, the plastic handle at the top came loose of the metal bar and we could not get it to snap back on no matter how hard we tried. It's still mostly functional, if you don't mind having to hold it by the metal bar rather than the handle. We may be able to hammer it back on at home, but I don't see that being effective as it's not the highest quality plastic to start with. Finally, on the smaller bag, while it is plenty roomy and I like the large front pocket for keeping airline tickets, passport, and wallet easily accessible, the zipper on the larger opening only goes one way, so you have to open it all the way to get inside the opening. It would have been much more functional to have a double zipper that meets in the middle, so you only have to open part of it on whichever side you need to access. All that said, these worked well for one trip, held quite a bit of luggage, met airline codes, were mostly functional, and they have a great variety of colors so you don't have to have the same black or gray bag as every other passenger. However, for around $40, it would be nice to have a bit better quality with a couple more features and they would get a 5-star rating from me. *Full disclosure: I did buy two more sets for my kids to take on a trip this summer, so we will see how they fare against the likes of a 9 and 11 year old. I would have tried another brand of bag since these were not the best, but I knew what to expect from these and didn't want to take a chance on a different bag that may have bigger issues.

Bought for 3 & 5 yr old Loved them I was happy with size and quality big enough for weeks vacation, at first I was looking at kids style luggage cute but then realized they were only 16 inches and some reviews said good for weekend get away do I ordered these larger ones 20 inches the extra bag that came with luggage is nice good for many uses small toys, toiletries etc wheels worked great family was going on weeks vacation these suitcases definitely big enough would buy again

It’s a nice luggage set. I chose this luggage set for my three day trip to Las Vegas because of the affordable price. It’s not high quality but it’s practical. My luggage set came with the bottom stand crooked and the sewing areas not perfect. I really do love the turquoise color that I got. The color is very vibrant. I also love the zip-up pockets and the inside mesh pocket on the carry-on suitcase. My favorite part about this carry-on suitcase is that it comes with a tiny lock and two tiny keys for it. And the one thing that I really don’t like about the carry-on suitcase, is that when it has anything inside of it, it can’t stand up by itself. It always just falls over and it falls over constantly, which is super frustrating when your hands are full and you can’t let the handle of the carry-on suitcase go to push the elevator’s button because it will fall over forward to the ground. And for the small tote bag, I like that it is collapsible and that you can flatten it when you’re not using it for storage purposes, like storing it inside the carry-on suitcase. The only downside to that is it’s not as sturdy and stable as you’d like it to be, especially if you only put a few items inside of it. I was able to fill the small tote bag with my personal items and toiletries to the top, so it was stuffed and thus, sturdy and stable for the duration of my trip. Overall, this luggage set was not perfect but it was just good enough for what I needed it for.

I really like the design, very retro.....well made and the 4th piece is a great idea instead of lugging around a handbag. I travel economy class and the day tours can be long and hectic so a piece of luggage like this is really handy (carry lunch, water and camera etc ) and makes a great carry on for flying....I love it ❤️

Didn't even make it out the front door. All the zipper stitching came undone on the 30 inch bag. Black thread pieces sticking out everywhere. Also once you add a coupke items the bags will fall over. So disappointed bought this as a Christmas present for myself and my daughters trip and I had to quickly sew up the zippers as we were leaving. Very poor quality. Very unhappy as I had no time to return as they fell apart as we were walking out the door.
