SENNELIER Green for Oil Solvent-Free Thinner, 100ml (10-135201-100)

I had been getting headaches for a while using turpentine, and I bought this hoping for a replacement to the fumes I was inhaling before. I’m very sensitive to them, so I knew immediately that this product did not affect me the same way. I use oil paint, and the thickness and viscosity I wanted was easy enough to achieve. There’s a slight scent that’s hard to describe, but nothing overly offensive or strong. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a ‘healthier’ alternative to turpentine solvent. The thickness was almost the same as turpentine, if a bit more viscous, and the colour is very pale yellow.

Great for using with oil pastels or oil paint as it works as a great thinning agent without a heavy toxic smell.

My boyfriend wants to paint with oil. In the living room. It ain't happening with paint thinner. Plus, he got a headache from turpentine. So we've been looking for non toxic alternatives, that don't cost an arm and a leg. This is the best we've found so far. Works pretty well, and no headaches.

This is great oil thinner that's not toxic. I have used it for years and would easily give it a 5 star. If only it had arrived intact. The merchant could pack this a bit better. The bottles were thrown into a box that was way too big with no padding, just a minimal amount of paper that didn't stabilize anything. So they were tossed around quite a bit. The bottles leaked and consequently I only have about 50% of the content. The entire Amazon box was drenched in the liquid. Not very nice and I will not buy through Amazon again.

The product itself it very good and I use it for all of my paintings. I gave it only 3 stars because it arrived without a package and as a result about 25% of the bottle's content was spilled on other items I ordered in the box and was never compensated for it.

A joy to work with these Sennelier Green materials. They're probably the least scented, and best solvents and thinners I've ever used, and I only use things that aren't toxic, or harmful to the environment. This stuff makes painting with oils and water-soluble oils a breeze.

I bought this because I paint in a small apartment and didn’t want to have anything strong smelling. Also I am very sensitive to smell and this one is perfect. This whole brand is amazing!

It works but the smell is too strong for me. I can't use this. Gives me a headache.
