The Petticoat worked perfectly for my daughter. It fit great and measured well under her long dress. Be sure that your daughters dress is long and has plenty of space under for the wired petticoat, otherwise the slip under the dress will reveal the petticoat, because its not wide enough. the wire expands the length of the petticoat, meaning the wired rings are smaller at the top and expand at the end. So consider the style of your dress. If you need the Petticoat to poof from the waist, this may not be a good choice. I bought this just for my daughter to use for dress up to make her skirts poofy and it does just that. For the price the quality is sufficient, however, she is a tiny 5 year old and the skirt is almost floor length. This skirt is meant to fit up to a much higher age, but I imagine it would get quite short. The drawstring also comes out quite easily which can be annoying.

The petticoat is cute and works great under a pretty skirt. However, if the dress is floor length , this petticoat is a little short, The size specified 7 to 13 yrs is a little confusing as 13 year olds are much taller than 7 year olds. I made it work by sewing a 4 inch panel at the top of the petticoat.

Perfect fit. I bought this to go under my daughters belle costume for halloween. It was what made the costume! I have no complaints!

Works great, nice form for under dresses, however the draw string is a pain in the butt. I bought for Halloween but it ended up not getting used. Gave it to my girls for dress-up . . . they have only worn it once because the drawstring came out and I have not had a chance to put it back in. It slipped out when I first opened the package too and was trying to straighten out the skirt.

This is a nice petticoat & it makes my daughter's dress fit just right, it has the princess old fashion lady look to it with it under the dress. I Love It!!!

I was recommended this hoop skirt from a shop that I bought a gown from, and it worked so well! It really gave the dress that ball gown effect!
