I try to buy only biodegradeable or compostable products so I was pretty excited about these compostable garbage bags. While the size was accurate I was very disappointed in the durability. The first bag I used seemed like it was “degrading” before I could put it out for trash pick up. The bottom was tearing and when I lifted it from my can it almost dumped the contents of the bag all over my floor. I had to put the bag inside another “regular” trash bag (kinda defeated the purpose of a compostable bag by having to do that) so that it could be picked up. On my next attempt with the bags I put a paper plate in the bottom of the bag before I put it in the basket hoping that whatever I put it the bag wouldn’t damage the bottom of the bag before it became full. While I appreciate the fact that they are odor free and compostable they are very thin, thus I won’t be buying them again.

We decided to go with biodegradeable diapers and wipes for our baby, and were excited to use biodegradable bags in the diaper pail. We originally had the pail next to a heat vent in our baby's room and noticed the bags would have condensation on them when we took them out of the pail. We moved the pail away from the heat vent and haven't had any issues since. We haven't noticed any odors nor have the bags been too flimsy to handle the dirty diapers & wipes.My only complaint is that the first bag on the roll always tears from the packaging sticker.

These aren't the most rugged of waste bags, but I didn't expect them to be as they are meant to be biodegradable. For an everyday waste bag it is perfect! If you are looking for something you can put heavy things into, you may need to double or triple up on the bags.

I love the fact that the bags are biodegradable! However, they degrade too quickly for my use. Since I recycle and compost, I only empty my can about once a week. By then, the bottom of the bag has started to fall apart. I have to put a piece of newspaper at the bottom to prevent this from happening. But, if you empty your can every couple days, it'll probably work for you.

I'm trying to be more environmentally conscious and these looked like a good buy. Unfortunately, they are a bit too small for a 13 gallon bin. They also rip extremely easily. Half the time I broke it just putting it on the bin, the rest of the time I broke it trying to take the trash out. Great idea, poorly executed.

The bags are good for a small trash can, I don’t think it is a full 13 gallon bag. The bags are very thin but work well as long as you do not overstuff them. Not a bad purchase.

These are good and help me feel good about lessening my plastic waste. But they are way too thin and flimsy to be used as trash bags. Plus, the 13 gallon size isn’t typical. It’s much smaller than other 13 gallon bags.

They are very thin and smaller than our trash can. We have to use two bags, so I am not sure how enviro friendly we are with these bags. We might just use them in the bathroom and office trash cans instead.

Definitely a great buy for those who want a more eco friendly garbage bag. I use it for bottles and food scraps as we recycled everything else!
