Ever since I started shaving, I've always hated the traditional foaming shaving cream. Eventually I found a clear blue shave gel from a certain mainstream shaving company, which I absolutely loved. When I lost my hair and started shaving my entire head, it became an essential product for me that I would go through a pretty high clip. Alas, one day the company discontinued the product, and it became The Best a Man Couldn't Get. I searched far and wide for a replacement product, and tried many lookalikes, but none had the same magical combination of translucency, viscosity, and lubricity. I was getting ready to give up and learn to tolerate the foam like everyone else. And then I found this product. This stuff isn't just as good as the product I was trying to replace, it's actually BETTER! It goes on clear with just a very slight foam. It has a light, pleasant aroma. My razor glides over it very easily and provides a perfect shave every time. And best of all, it's SUPER concentrated! Unlike other products which I found I had to use copious amounts of, just a small dab of this stuff, combined with a few drops of water, is enough for me to shave my entire bald head. If it starts drying out a little halfway through my shave, I just apply a little water to it and it's just as slippery as it was freshly applied. I'm shocked at how long each tube lasts. In conclusion, this is simply THE best shave gel money can buy. Here's to you, Patrol Grooming. I'll be buying this product till the day I die.

I have been using this shaving product many years. I moved to a smaller town and my local stores do not stock this item. Thank you Amazon! This shave gel last me a long time, it only takes a small amount to lather up and it excellent especially if you have sensitive skin.

Interesting gel shave. Provides a slick, close shave. Very slight, but pleasant fragrance. Creates a thin but protective lather. Will be disappointing if you're looking for a great scent or full lather. Its not a typical shave cream type product, and I have others I like more. HOWEVER... by chance I discovered that if you coat your face with this and then use a cream or soap like Proraso or TOBS, (especially with a brush) you will get a lovely volume of rich, thick slippery lather. It just blows up. This is a nice synergistic effect known to traditional shavers as "über lather," usually created by mixing the right cream with a soap. This gel is a terrific über lather catalyst. Try it with your favorite soap or cream.
