Great coffee maker
Great to make a cup of coffee. Delicious! Portable and easy to use and easy cleaning.

Super easy to use and clean
This stainless steel funnel strainer works great. I love my coffee but found that making a pot was not satisfactory after the coffee set awhile, not being heated. The LHS pour over dripper lets me make a fresh cup when ever I'm ready and is super easy to keep clean between uses. I can't give it 6 stars...too bad.

Great no brainer for your kitchen
Ok great quality! Awesome product it works well with no leaks. I would say it is no V60 ceramic pour over, so quality is almost there but I will say it more than makes up for it with the fact you do not need to purchase any filters at all. It's not the money, its the inconvenience of having to order, wait, and throw the filters away. This item I just rinse out in the sink and off we go, thus saving me time, money and the environment. Makes good coffee, provided you are using really good beans and you are grinding them the right way! This tastes better than most espresso machines, and it is more convenient.

pretty decent beginner pour over filter for a coffee lover
I've used coffee machine and french press for a long time, but thought i'd try out a pour over filter. I purchased a different "hario style" filter in the past, but I thought I'd try a stainless steel one. I've had this for about 3 months and I use this at least 1-3 times a week with my gooseneck kettle. Here are my two cents on the item: 1. stainless steel - best part of it. sturdy construction that produces consistent results. you can use it without a paper filter and it'll work great. 2. construction - a two-piece filter & stand. easy to handle and use, i wish the stand is more stable and heavier, but it does not affect usage. one should be careful that the joint connectors are not bent during use. 3. filter - there are two observations about the filter itself. a. it is good at catching the fine grinds, but does not catch them all - some residue do sip through but not enough to ruin the coffee taste. this may not be an issue with the filter, but more related to how fine the grounds; finer will sip through a bit but coarser grounds will be fine. When I use a prepackaged grounds purchased from a store, it will often result in some residue. b. this filter catches the water very well. the water does not sip through the side of the filter, results in diluting the coffee flavor. all of the water poured into the filter will flow down the tip and contribute to the brewing. one more note about the filter itself - if you use without the paper filter, the end result coffee will look "oily", this is a natural process, not a problem of the design. The oiliness is due to the oil in the coffee bean being extracted by the hot water during roasting process. If you use a paper filter, the paper will filter usually absorbs all the oil. 4. easy to clean - a couple of dumps will get rid almost all of the grounds. The included brush works amazingly well when you use warm water with a bit of dish soap. overall I do like and enjoy this filter, and it produces good (but not great) tastes of coffee. Some may have complained that the draining took too long - i disagree respectfully. A pour over is meant to slow drain so it has time to brew the coffee grounds. I have another ceramic filter (hario style) that took even longer to drain. using a pour over is almost like a fine art, where a combination of your filter, hot water, coffee grounds, gooseneck kettle, and hand movement, all contribute to a better tasting and enjoyable coffee.

It is designed for reuse.
I’m writing a review of my pour-over cup, and I have to say I really like it, especially for the weekends. I mostly use it during this time since, on weekdays, I usually have coffee from work. Sometimes, I don't want to brew a full pot of coffee, especially since I don’t have a drip coffee maker, so the pour-over option works perfectly for me. I appreciate the sturdy design and the metal components. The mesh filter is a nice size, and I find it easy to clean. I also love that it’s reusable, which makes it a great value since I don’t have to buy filters. The coffee tastes fantastic, and it heats up pretty quickly, too. That’s why I’m giving it a five-star rating. This pour-over cup fits on most standard cups, and I've even used it on larger mugs, where it fits perfectly on top. Overall, it's a great addition to my coffee routine!

This is the best one
Best one for any pour over. I like that the bottom has a rubber bottom that is removable for easier cleaning. Size is good for large cups of coffee. My 4th pour over and my last.

If you are looking for a new pour over filter - STOP - because this is it!
My wife bought me a pour over set almost a year ago, since coffee is something I enjoy. And my tastes have evolved over the years. I used to buy pre-ground coffee and use an automatic drip coffee maker. I eventually tried whole beans and grinding them, which put an end to pre-ground coffee. (Hard to go back once you taste the difference) Then I went from a loud automatic grinder to a quiet hand held, manual grinder. Noticing the more balanced flavor a consistent grind gave me. And then the pour over. Well, that took some getting used to and a lot of experimenting, finding the right grind, trying for that 'bloom' and such. I was almost getting it down when another part started to bother me. The time it took for the water to finish going through the filter. I was winding up with coffee that was just...pretty warm. So...I start researching a thermal carafe and it was perfect. Gave me hot coffee again - for a little while. Then it got where I was pouring from the thermal carafe back into the glass and putting it in the microwave for a minute or two to make it hot enough again. But I could swear that was at the cost of flavor, as it didn't quite taste as good after. It got to where it felt ridiculous to go through all this effort and I was about THIS close to just giving up on the whole hassle of it all. So I order a tiny Mr. Coffee maker, figuring I'll just keep grinding my beans and have that do the work and at least have hot coffee. But, dang it again...it just wasn't the same. At all. It was hot, sure, but totally lacking in flavor. At my wits end, I start researching reusable filters. Maybe, just MAYBE, that will solve all my problems? I was so excited to get this in the mail. I opened it up and went to wash it out so I can test out my last hope of a home made, flavorful, hot cup of coffee. As I'm rinsing out the soap, I figure I'll put it side by side with my other filter (which I had cleaned after every use, always) and was surprised to see that I couldn't even get this new filter to hold water long enough to see how slow it drains. While my other filter filled right up and slowly drained about half way. Well, that certainly seemed promising! And I'm happy to inform anyone taking the time to read this long tale that it solved ALL my pour over coffee issues! This filter works brilliantly. I tend to grind my coffee on the finer side and was a little worried about grounds on the bottom of my cup (nothing worse than that last sip and GAG!), but have thus far had no problems. The only problem I have now is having to wait a little bit because it pours over so quick into a thermal carafe and then I pour into a Zojirushi thermal mug and it stays piping hot. Almost TOO hot. This filter has me back on track with really tasty coffee again. I would not hesitate to recommend and I already have to anyone I know who enjoys coffee enough to make it this way. And I hope it works for anyone who reads this as good as it works for me! Follow-up note [December 2022]: Several months ago, the supporting rim around the top of the filter came off. Just seems the welding points weren't very good and it just popped off. I figured it must have been a fluke, but who knows? The filter has been working fine, however, without the supporting rim the cone isn't as sturdy and cleaning is starting to cause the bottom plug portion of the filter to also come loose. I'm afraid it's only a short matter of time before I'm faced with buying a new filter. (Apparently only a matter of hours. See photo. I'm hoping this was a fluke and looks like I will have to order a replacement)

Overly expensive, doesn't make as good coffee as a stove top but happy to keep it.
Already had a stainless steel, double wall filter which i use at work. It cost less than half the price of this one and leaves very little sludge in the cup. This LHS filter is single wall and doesnt filter quite as well. I do like how the base separates from the body which makes it less likely to be damaged. The base is also quite large allowing it to sit safely on most cups. I like how there is no waste of paper and the grounds can go into compost. It's easy to clean, looks pretty, makes a quick cup of coffee but I do think it's expensive for what it is.
