This tray is awesome. It’s SUPER sturdy and has helped me so much. I live in an apartment and needed something reliable to change soil on and this has helped SO MUCH!!!! Well worth the money!

I didn’t buy this tray for starting seedlings, but for placing my outdoor plants when we go on vacation. The tray holds several pots and I can fill it with a couple of inches of water to keep my plants from drying out when we are away. Since I bring the plants inside while we’re on vacation, the tray also helps to contain the stray lizards and frogs that come in with the plants. I have also been using the tray in our greenhouse. It’s good for keeping the greenhouse floor relatively clean when I put the plants into the greenhouse for the winter or when I put seedlings into intermediate pots to allow them to grow before planting them in the garden. Overall, the tray is durable and quite useful.

I bought two trays to use in my greenhouse on top of metal shelving units that are 48" x 18". The trays pretty much cover the entire shelves, as was intended. Being black, however, has been a concern even before the real heat of summer kicks in. When sunlight hits them while they are empty, they buckle up quite a bit on the bottom and absorb a lot of heat. I don't know how much of this is only because they are black, or also because the plastic bed is not thick enough to withstand buckling. Either way, it is a disappointing feature because I have nowhere else to store them right now, other than to stack the 2 together on one of the shelf tops. As far as general construction, I consider them well made and deep enough. Life has gotten in the way of starting seeds yet, but it won't be a problem for any types of pots or seed trays. I also believe the recycled plastic will stay strong enough ... it's not cheaply made. Thus, the higher price point is justifiable, but my budget did cringe when buying them. I tried covering them with heavy-duty aluminum foil to offset heat absorption (and warping) which worked, but then the foil was too bright for my eyes (even though I had the matte side facing up). I took it back off. It's my first season with a greenhouse setup, so hopefully I will get something else figured out. Otherwise, I will have to carry them to store somewhere else when not being used.

This was exactly what I needed. I wanted to place several plants on top of a piece of furniture, without having water drip onto the furniture. This did the trick. I placed all my plants on top of this and it worked perfectly. It's very sturdy.

Bought to hold water in tray for my outdoor carniverous plants and works great! Would buy again. Very sturdy and great size. Easy to clean.

Not much to review but overall it was a quality and durable item tonpurchase. I would po purchase again if needed.

I was looking for a good sturdy tray to use for my grow bags and other pots I have without bottoms, so I could water without making a mess! It is the best size for multiple grow bags out of all that I have seen! It fits a lot of potters, I had three 5 gallon grow bags, and 3 normal sized pots on it and probably could have squeezed a few more smaller on it! Perfect for what I needed it for! Fits where I wanted it, does exactly what I need. Made from good material. It is a few inches tall so there's no way I can make a mess when I water my plants! I would have gotten two but unfortunately I didn't have enough room where I need them! The dimensions are spot on, I measured my area before I bought this to be sure it would fit and it's perfect!

We got this to plant clover in. We have a lot of rabbits that frequent our back yard because it's so sheltered, and noticed that they love clover. So we drilled some holes in the bottom for drainage, filled the tray with potting soil, and planted clover, then put it on the ground in a quiet place near bushes where they like to hide. The tray is nice and low, easy for them to eat from or even get up into. The rabbits have enjoyed the clover and a lot of birds have enjoyed the stray seeds, so we always have critters to watch.
