BIG Money & BIGGER Results
The smell from this paint is serious stuff, but holy cow when it dries it's like powder coating, but better since it can be repaired and recoated later Awesome stuff! It's very expensive but I can see why they got a patent on this stuff. Whatever it's made of is VERY different. If you have metal you want painted black, this is IT!

OMGOSH! This Paint is IRON hard! Amazing ..
I bought this paint looking for something hardcore and durable, in White at First. Painted my portable Horse Corrals that take a beating .. That was Months ago. I am amazed how durable how white they remain after being dragged around and used. My Shepheard wacked tail on wet rail, took months to come out. I chuckled every time I saw the white stripped tail. Now ordering black for front gate. This stuff is amazing and you would not know it at first. Its lasts and lasts and takes the elements! GREAT!!!

Fast easy one coat coverage, stir well, wear gloves, and do not shake.
This was the second purchase of this product due to the amazing results when applied with a bristle or foam brush. It produces a high gloss, self-leveling, hard-shell finish, that is very resistant to surface scratches like most gloss black coatings. It is also very to clean and covers an outstanding amount of area. My first use was for a modified Jeep Wrangler frame and suspension components. The second application was a heavy-duty, homemade garden cart on steroids.

Easy to clean up after using
Easy to use, cleans up with water. It will leave brush marks. Covered the rust. So far so good.

Tough As Nails, No Rust but Difficult to Reuse
I love this pain. I've been using it on and off for a decade because it literally smothers rust so it can no longer oxidize. However, I also use this pain when I need a very durable surface, like the hitch hook-up on my truck. The reason they come in small cans is that there can be enormous waste. Let me explain - trying to open the can for the first time is rather challenging. You will no doubt destroy most of the lid's top rim trying to get it off (see picture). Helpful hints: don't shake the paint to mix it unless you want tiny bubbles in your paint job. The manufacturer recommends stirring to mix the pain. Try as hard as you can to keep paint out of the can's gutter. If you don't and put the lid back on, the paint will literally fuse the lid onto the paint can, and you will be unable to remove the lid again, thus wasting the rest of the can of paint. Now you know why it comes in small cans - this can be a one-use-and-discard situation. However, However, I might have figured out how to keep using all of the paint in the can. The key is to use a small brush (I use a Q-tip) to apply the paint to the metal you want protected, which will hopefully keep paint out of the gutter surrounding the can's opening. If you do this, you can push the mangled lid back onto the can loosely, but enough to keep most of the air out. Then place the can with its loosely placed lid into a small zip-lock bag and squeeze as much air out of the bag as possible while sealing the bag. Keep the paint can, now secured in the bag, as flat as possible to keep paint off the lid, which will make it impossible to pry the lid off. Later, you will most likely need a screwdriver to pry the lid off in spite of the above efforts, but doing it this way doesn't seem to dry the paint out, and for the first time in a decade, I've been able to use the same can of paint numerous times. I hope this helps.

Good stuff!
I chose the slightly more expensive black Rust Bullet since my car, a 2000 VW Jetta GLX, also happens to be black. I picked this car up very cheap, partly because of it's appearance - there was a large section on the rocker panel and a somewhat smaller section on the trunklid, as well as several other areas where the paint had peeled off - very unsightly on a black car! Fortunately, VW used rust inhibitors in the metal, because the rust hadn't gotten very deep, even as this car has endured every harsh Buffalo winter of its existence. However, I wasn't going to let a foot-in-the-door opportunity turn into a rust-ravaging nightmare! So, I applied the Rust Bullet (after prepping the affected areas) with an old watercolour brush (for the smoothest possible finish one could expect from a brush, lol!) - The car looks awesome now! The stuff takes awhile to dry, but this allowed what few brush stroke lines there were to completely level off. No one can tell that there was ever a problem! Word of caution - among the other usual precautions listed on the can that one must observe, WEAR GLOVES!! I didn't, and paid the price - you'll wear it for weeks, lol! But I love this stuff, and unlike other rust-converter products I've tried, this stuff does not need to be painted over, if one doesn't see the cosmetic need to do so.

Wrought Iron Railing Paint
I was lookn for some good paint that I can apply to my railings. Didnt want Lowes OR Home Depot paint cause theirs doesn't last long. So I searched internet and found this Rust Bullet paint. Never heard of it. Never used it. After reading the good / bad reviews online, I decided to give it a shot. I bought the quart can. Cleaned railings and applied this product. 24 hrs later ( right now ) im writing this and lookin at the railings. They are dry. They are covered. The paint is hard ( like a shell ) It didn't take 48-72 hours to dry like can said and it did not shine super high gloss like can said. Which im happy its not super shiny gloss cause my neighbors all have flat black railings also in condo. But yes...... I definitley will use this again. It works. Im happy with it. No issues. No bad smell either.

Product good. Packaging SUCKS!
Top of can got destroyed trying to get it off. Looks like top was made to be destroyed taking it off. In the past when using this product it seems I could use a little and seal can top back on. Not anymore. how long has can top been like this? I know product is very sensitive to air, and probably should use entire can at one sitting, but come on. I will be looking at packaging for corrosion preventive coatings next time I buy (won't be Rust Bullet).
