I have an advanced degree from a top tier University. I have read many of these classic novels but not all! As above should you want to be well read, and want to know of the iconic first lines such as "Call me Ishmael"-that is Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Then "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times" you will have to read to see which classic and excellent book this one is! I highly recommend this to everyone, even those like myself with an advanced degree from a very well known University. The Classics, so much time these authors put into these well loved books is astounding. I wrote a Dissertation of 400 plus pages, and I read quite quickly. I will be stuck with this for a few months at least. I look forward in reading books I had not yet read. I surely want to read them, as I am older now and to read before I die! Who knows I may get to speak to these authors after I die! Thanks Amazon!

Every book that you need to read! Classics in one place!

I bought both volumes - 100 books. I had already read a few of the books on the list. Most I would never have bought or read. But I figure at one a month, I can maybe get them done in 8.5 years. I just read Pride and Prejudice. I probably would not have read but I was presently surprised and I enjoyed it. Now I'm kind of looking forward to this literary journey. And I cannot beat this price.

I haven’t read a whole lot of this but what I have is great. Definitely get your money’s worth buying this.

You’ll never get through all of them. Great kindle book

This is a two volume set that you separately buy with 50 books in each due to their size. Easy, easy, easy to navigate through and the selections are true classics. Highly recommend.

Containing 50 quality works of literature that have stood the test time down the years.Many of these titles were set book for my A level studies at school and English degree studies at university. I am looking forward to re-living the experience and of reading the other books I never had the time to pick up before.A great app, excellent collection.

All the books were excellent and worth 5 stars each. They were the greatest books ever written. They were fantastic, they were literally excellent. Everyone should read these books. Some of the English is really impressive. Highly recommend and highly entertaining. The authors are great.

Was expecting just a list of books and a short critique on each. But it contained ALL the books themselves in full.Only small quibble, difficult to keep up with page numbers as each book doesn't start at Page 1. But not a problem.

Kept crashing my Kindle when loading. Once it finally loaded I couldn't navigate to next book, annoying when you have already read some of them. Then it crashed again. 7 times in total before I gave up

To find so many excellent authors together in one volume at such a price was discovering and rediscovering old favourites is more than a bargain.
