My refrigerator started to get a plastic like odor. I found that plastic grocery bags had fallen behind the fridge and got stuck to the fan. I removed the bags but the odor in the fridge and freezer stayed. And it got into the food. I wiped everything down and put baking soda in there but the odor persisted. So I tried these odor absorbers. I have an average size fridge. I put one in the freezer and one in the fridge. After a few days the odor was just about gone. I have lived with the odor for almost a year and almost bought a new refrigerator because of it! These odor absorbers are great and saved me a lot of money. They have no scent of their own. I will definitely be buying more. They say to change them every 6 months and I will.

I loved this fridge deodorizer so much, I bought it again, but this time in a 3 pack! It really works. I typically have an array of smelly items in my fridge such as kimchi and meats. It came to the point where I never even wanted to open my fridge because of the smell. I decided to give this a try and I'm really glad I did. From the moment I hung it inside my fridge, it evaporated all the odor right away! I even stuck my head in the fridge and gave it a few sniffs to really see if there was any smell lol. To my surprise, NO SMELL AT ALL!!!! I loved it so much that I decided to get another one for my freezer and also a few extras for when the power starts to wear off. Great product. I will be recommending to all my friends and family.

We had a disaster with a refrigerator having no power for a month while we were away from home. The freezer was full of meat and the smell was unbearable. We took it apart, cleaned, bleached and cleaned again and used all of the advice we found online but could not get rid of the awful odor. The Fridge It was our last effort before throwing the refrigerator out. We have one in the fridge and one in the freezer area and it has been in there about a month and appears to be working. At least, the smell has diminished so I have hopes that eventually we can use it again. I will order another set and go another round and that may do the trick. I also put one in a chest of drawers that had been in storage for years and was smelling like mold. I had tried many things without results so put a Fridge It in one of the drawers and it has already improved quite a bit so I am pleased with the results of this product.

Before leaving for a week-long vacation, my husband and I forgot to freeze some salmon we had in the fridge. Needless to say, when we got back the fridge, freezer, and everything in them had a scent that was so overwhelmingly pungent I might have opted to replace it altogether if I hadn’t found this product. I was skeptical given the level of odor we had, but the reviews and price made me decide it was worth a shot. I purchased three and placed two in our fridge and one in the freezer. Before doing so- I did throw out everything that was in the fridge and gave all surfaces a good cleaning. It took about 2-3 days for the smell to no longer be noticeable, but I could tell a difference after the first day. For such a small product, it is quite powerful. I have no doubt it would be great as an everyday deodorizer for your home. We keep one always now in our fridge and freezer. Would recommend!

I used to swear by Fridge-It. My fridge never seemed to have an odor while that little cube was there. But for some reason, the last ones (in the fridge and freezer) just did not get the job done. I love spices, onion, garlic, brie, and blue cheese and such. These definitely have a strong odor but the cube took care of it. Except this time. I could not track down where the odor was coming from and did a complete removal of anything I that had the tiniest smell. Finally the odor improved after replacing with the new Fridge-it cubes. However, there is still a slight smell when you open the door so I am giving up on Fridge-it and using another product.

Let me be real for a second. This thing works TOO well. I have a curse. An odor curse. It has infected my fridge and freezer and changed every food to both smell and taste like this odor. I just threw everything out, sealed or not. At this point I made a discovery. This product which I had in there for few weeks thinking it did not work to resolve my issue, has become a bomb of odor. The smell which has been plaguing me lives on because this product got rid curse so well that it can only produce concentrated death as a byproduct. It did not last up to the 6 months as advertised but that is no problem as this Pokeball for curses shall be my saving grace from now until the end times. 15 out of 10, am purchasing again.

Overview: I recently replaced my kitchen sink and plumbing due to a badly deteriorated drain assembly that was leaking water to the cabinet below the sink (you can see the damage in one of the pictures). After drying/cleaning up the damage, I placed a fan and removed the cabinet doors to help with the musty smell, but it didn’t eliminate the smell entirely. I was going to put a box of baking soda, but decided to look online to see if there was a better solution. Came across these Fridge-it cubes and reading thru the description, I saw the bold claim that it was ‘better than baking soda’. I’ll have to admit, I was very skeptical. I decided to purchase it and placed three of the cubes into the cabinet. The next morning, I was amazed that all of the musty smell was gone. I literally stuck my head down into the cabinet area and still couldn’t smell it. I would say that these cubes live up to the bold claim of ‘better than baking soda’. Advantages: -small size -fast acting -simple packaging and instructions -multi use Disadvantages: -I would say the only disadvantage would be that the design of the cubes looks like a toy, so just be cautious if you have toddlers that like to open cabinet or fridge doors.

I had a small box freezer combined with my fridge, whilst I left my apartment for 4 weeks one of the maintence team accidentally unplugged it, needless to say the meat that was left it in (fish, pork, beef) absolutely stunk, made worse from the fact some of it was from the butchers and wasn't properly secure to leaked everywhere. I put one of these inside the freezer box (after cleaning extremely thoroughly) about 3 weeks later the smell of rotten is gone! (This is whilst the freezer was turned on too!) In fact there is only a small hint of chemicals from the cleaner I used, but I've gotta say I'm very impressed the Fridge-It has managed to absorb the chemical smell - particuarly bearing in mind I ordered industrial strength cleaner and used about half a bottle in a tiny area to kill all germs. All in all, an incredible product for the price. I will be recommended to EVERYONE who ever needs to get rid of a smell.

It gets rid of odors as described. Fridge smells fresh.

After leaving my fridge/freezer switched off for three weeks by accident, myself and the in laws came back to a deathly smell. What a way to bring the in laws in eh?? Any way, the smell was still there for three weeks. Rotting flesh was an understatement. We held our breath each time we went to open the freezer. I bought this after much research, cleaned the freezer out again and left it in. Within three hours I was able to open the freezer without seeing my life flash before me. Amazing! In laws will be proud of how I turned that around ;)
