These work great for watching home TV
These work great for watching home TV. My 6-yr-old Sony headphones finally gave out on one side. I suspected that my Sony infrared transmitter was still OK, so I took a chance and ordered these XO Vision headphones hoping the two would be compatible. Surprise! They work great - the new phones actually sound clearer than the original Sonys. I doubt they'll last 6 years, however. I'm using these in my living room sitting about 14 feet away from the Sony transmitter unit. Sound is clear with no hiss or breakups. I can get up and move around the room freely. However, the sound will cut-off if you leave the room (true of all IR headphones). This is all the same as the old Sony set except the XO Vison set sounds better, has a better volume control (very clear at low volume, but will go plenty loud if you want) and they are more comfortable. The Sony set had the one advantage in that they were rechargeable on the convenient stand built into the transmitter. However, I expect to get many hours of listening using regular batteries. If not, I'll just switch to rechargeables. I have a portable phone nearby that is seldom used that I can just swap out batteries when needed. In sum, I am extremely pleased that I found a low cost solution to my old headphones wearing out. The only unknown at this early date is durability. For reference, my Sony model was: MDR-IF240RK Wireless Headphone System (discontinued.) I have the XO Vison transmitter plugged in to the RCA jacks on my TV's audio system - an old Bose CD/radio. t.

Works with TView Aftermarket DVD player
Turned on my TView DVD player, turned on the headphones and...they worked (simple as that). What more could we ask for, especially for the low price? We bought three of these to add to the two wireless headphones that came with the aftermarket TView DVD player we installed in our Toyota Sienna. Now all five children can listen to the movie while we listen to a book on tape over the car speakers. This is perfect for our long car trips. In comparing these headphones to the ones that came with the DVD player I would say they'll be less durable over the long run. However, the sound quality is about the same if not a bit better. They are not quite as loud as the ones we already have, but they are loud enough to be heard over road noise. They receive the wireless signal equally well from the back seat as from the middle. They are not as comfortable as a good set of over the ear headphones because the foam around the earpiece is thin, firm and, the earpiece does not mold around the ear at all (it is very flat). To save space the earpieces twist to fold flat. This is a great feature when you have five sets to store in between movies on a long trip. Bottom line: five stars because they work, they're affordable and, they are great for my children. If I had to rate them for my personal use compared to my studio quality headphones I would give them 2 stars. But then again I wouldn't be buying three sets of $250 headphones for young children that will use them only thee or four times a year.

MUCH cheaper alternative to Factory headphones
After YEARS of abuse from the little ones, our 2007 Honda Odyssey headphones had bitten the dust. They actually had been sitting broken in the van for over a year as I couldn't seem to swallow the $50-60 for EACH pair that Honda wanted to replace them (only to see them probably get destroyed again). I then saw these and the reviews. I was planning a 6hr ride to the beach and we were gonna have 4 younger ones in the car. For the price (about $13 at the time I bought them), I figured I could get 4 of them for less than the cost of one new Honda factory one. A much better value and I could stomach that kind of cost. I figured what the heck & what did I really have to lose so I pulled the trigger and got them. The ONLY reason I knocked off a star is I wonder how their long term durability will be since they are priced so low, but only time will tell. Besides, I can still go through 4 of these before I get to the cost of one HONDA pair so this is probably not a big deal anyway. Hell, I probably won't even have the vehicle any longer either so not a factor to really worry about. Glad I did get them and they have worked GREAT. Linked up right away to our DVD system so no programming was needed. Kids say they are comfortable and are easy to use. The auto-off feature is a must too and these have it (turn off after sensing no sound for a few minutes). They fold up as needed so I can keep all 4 of them stowed away nicely in the seat pockets behind the seats. I am glad I got these instead of the Honda ones (which most likely would get abused & damaged soon after again anyway). If these get "abused", its simply another $13. MUCH better value. *** UPDATE (8/19/13) I got these back in July 2013 & that is when they were about $13 each, but I now see how they are about $23 each instead. Still seems like a MUCH better value & can get 2-3 for the same cost as the HONDA factory ones ($50-60). *** UPDATE (9/18/13) After having for a few months, these things are STILL cranking away and lasting good. They did awesome on our beach trip and several other longer trips after that. Definitely glad I got them.

THEY WORK! I was a little doubtful on whether or not they would work on my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan but they work amazing and may I say maybe even clearer than the original headphones! The quality is great and it even comes with batteries! I looked into replacing ones that came with the van itself but they actually wanted with taxes in about $100 per pair of headphones at the dealership! I knew that I could obviously find a cheaper pair somewhere I cannot believe that I found a pair for $10. My next step is to buy like 5 more pairs so everybody can have a pair :)

They worked fine and were very cheap compared to other available headsets. The audio quality is pretty poor with a constant low buzzing noise. That being said I would certainly buy these again if it came down to it

I was worried these wouldn't work with my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan, but they synced up immediately and have worked perfectly. The price is fantastic. My only complaint is they only have one input channel, so if you have the dual dvd/blueray player, it only works on the number one player channel.

I bought these for an extra pair in our 2012 Honda Odyssey. I only did a test on them but they work great. Popped the batteries in and they were ready to go. The system picked them up right away. Well worth the money compared to the actual Honda headphones. They were delivered on time too.

They worked well for about 4 weeks then the sound went. Very quiet, very crackly and unuseable. They would have been a good purchase if the quality was there.
