I bought this product because I have always liked. powder. I've never heard of this powder before. The reviews were all good mostly, so I thought I try it.A few reviews stated they didn't like the smell. It reminded them of an "old lady smell". Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but really like the smell, it's a clean, soapy smell. A bit overwhelming at first, but the scent fades after a while, into a pleasant smell.As far as heat rash, I don't know about that, but from al the reviews, it's great.I personally swear by Anti Monkey Butt powder for heat rash. I haven't had a heat rash to compare the two powders.I'm definitely ordering more in a different scent maybe?.All in all a good purchase.

I used this product to relieve itching and keep me and my grandson cool and dry when it’s hot and humid. It seems to be working fine. I normally use GB powder, but decided to use this one for the Lavender fragrance. Pretty good.

Very cooling . Works well on chafing

This powder is so cooling I had to look up all the different ingredients because it seemed impossible that a powder could have such a strong cooling effect. The feel is almost like the cold portion of Icy-Hot but without the heating portion. The cooling effect lasts for a couple of hours, so staying comfortable while out and about isn't a problem. I purchased the Lavender scent and it wasn't overwhelming though in extreme heat any scent can amplify so beware. I would purchase it in unscented if it was available.

I Like lavender but the smell is to strong for me.

The fragrance was nicer than I expected, especially after using different medicated powders. Most importantly, it was extremely effective, along with pleasant fragrance & pretty decorative tin.

I’ve been dealing with a prickly heat rash on my legs and ankles for a few weeks during my weekend job. The rash clears up during the week, then returns on the weekends. So I was looking forward to using this product to prevent another outbreak when I returned to work. Unfortunately by mid-shift on Saturday the rash had reappeared as if I’d not applied any remedies. So Snake Brand Prickly Heat Cooling Powder was a huge disappointment for me. As for its fragrance, other Amazon reviewers have compared its smell to “old lady perfume.” DON’T BELIEVE THEM! It smells much worse. It does NOT smell good at all. The remarkably bad smell of this product will likely repel potential sex-partners, so it could be successfully used for birth control. Lastly, it’s not returnable.
