Ordered to replace my stock camera on car. Clear picture, easy installation.

Better quality than the camera in any of the other cars we own, including my 2018 RAM!

The camera installs into the back up light cavity without any issues.A couple of issues I had:The two LED lights for the license plate illumination are separate wires so you have to splice them together.Not a huge issue but it would be nice to only have to deal with one lead. The cable for the video has minuscule gauge wire, maybe 30 gauge? Anyway, it's not easy to splice or join with a more normally sized cable of 20 gauge or so. The biggest issue I had were the bulky RCA video connections. They were a real pain to route through the flexible wire bellows between the hatch on my Forester to the body of the car. If I were to do this again I would try to find something with a much smaller connector for this reason. The connectors themselves were marginal quality as they didn't want to mate up all the way. If you get past these issues, the camera works pretty well with only a small delay when shifting into reverse. My Pioneer head unit wasn't the delay as it immediately changed to the back up screen but showed blank for a couple of seconds.

The camera looks cheap, and it has less features than others cameras at lower price. What is more, I installed the camera, and it stop working after 12 hours... I really do not recommend this camera to any one. The only good thing is that it fits in my Legacy.

Purchased as a replacement as the original lasted a only about 5 years as the plastic lenses become clouded. New unit had the incorrect installation instructions and had no option for the rear camera lines. It works but not particularly impressed
