International Silver Hoopla Frost 51-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set with Serving Utensils and Extra Teaspoons, Service for 8

Despite all the rusting reviews for this product, I bought the set, I love the look and it was a good deal for the 51-piece set. It's been two months now and I have had no rusting at all. Even with them sitting in the sink or the dishwasher, we use the dry cycle not sure if that would make much difference. Spoons are holding up well to cold ice cream. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and expect these to last till I just randomly want a new set.Three moderate negatives: The fork ends are very square, so when mixing in plastic bowls it feels like I am scraping it with the fork end. As far as eating goes, I can't really tell. The butter knives do not have much serration so it takes a bit more force than typical to slice up some butter. Thirdly, after unboxing and taking an inventory of all the pieces I discovered I was short by one little fork, I triple checked. I did see some reviews also stating they were short, but somehow I've made it work.

does what it is supposed to do, mechanically sound but some may feel too large as the tines of the fork and the size of the soup spoon are large but exactly what we were looking for as a few of our pieces of the same service for 8 that we had have gone the way of socks in the dryer. We like the look of the silverware too!

I liked the price for this flatwear set. We are using it in our RV, and it is perfect for everyday use.

Very sturdy. The handles are moderately thick. They have held up to daily wear with no bends or chips. I am always on the lookout for the right sized spoon to eat with. I prefer smaller spoons. The last few sets I have had were huge teaspoons these ones are just good. It is a great mid line set. I loved the extra teaspoons as those are the ones we lose to bedrooms the most. I would buy again

I really like this set. We aren't conscientious, and we leave it in water, etc., but there has been no spotting or pitting at all. I would have given it five stars if there was just a little more heft to it. Very lightweight. I had been planning on getting a heavier set later, but I like these so much I will probably just order another 8-piece setting and call it a day. They are a little longer than our previous sets. The small fork is almost as big as a regular fork in our old set, and I like that.

Very happy with purchase. I was looking for flatware for my travel trailer so nothing fancy, super heavy or expensive! This product was perfect for my needs. The packaging came with no damage, wrapped individually and there was no residue on any of the utensils. Attached are photos showing the length, width and weights of the utensils. At this point I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend for anyone. I may even purchase 2 more for my home. These do seem larger than other sets, sturdy and won't bend if you used them for eating, not for tools. Love that you get serving utensils and 16 teaspoons! Hope this review helps!

I bought my first set 2 years ago. I was looking for a good deal and didn't know much about the whole stainless steel 18/20 thing. I was very impressed with quality. I still don't know if they are 18/20. I use daily, dishwasher etc. no rust. However over the years, I had become educated in silverware. I do know that if you use acidic stuff, even lemon scented dishwashing detergent it will wear them down. I recently bought another set because I was hosting bigger parties. I like the fact that this set has serving pieces so I didn't have to buy them separately.

Beautiful, but such shiny finish on it that any little spot shows, so kind of a pain. Dishwasher always leaves some water spots and I find myself having to 'shine and polish' my silverware, feeling like a butler but not getting paid for doing it... HA! Anyway, I stopped trying to shine for us, but for company - definitely can't just put the silverware down in front of guests with spots and stain-looking designs on them. Have to rub them with a paper towel to rub off the spots...
