Beduan 2 Way Normally Closed DC 12V Electric Solenoid Air Valve 1/8" NPT

Made a miniature flame effect with it and it worked great. It doesn't say it is made for LP fuel gas so when it started to leak I assumed it was because the butane ate up the o-ring and that it would be impossible to fix. It was actually very easy to take off the coil and check the seal, where I found some plastic in there (my fault, got blown in from the jenky valve connection below) and took it out. I'm impressed with the size, cost and how easy it is to repair.

Neat little valves! I had one leaking that I could not remedy. The leak was where the brass cylinder(where the plunger is inside) is crimped onto the threaded end. I had removed the solenoid by removing the nut on top and then came back hours later and a water drip was hanging off at the threads near that brass crimped seam. That threaded end is pulled on by the solenoid securing nut which pulls directly on that crimped brass seam. I feel like this was over tightened at the factory compromising the crimped joint resulting in a leak. That nut only needs to be tight enough to not loosen over time. The solenoid doesn't rely on heavy torque on that nut. Returning and getting a replacement.

I am using this to control an air horn and it works great. I expected a delay from the time I tap the horn button for the horn to blast but this is instant! I am running it at around 120 psi and it has been flawless so far. I am surprised at just how well it works given the price.

Works as you would expect. Help up to 100psi. I had issues when trying to use with Co2 as it froze the solenoid shut. Though works great with compressed air and they increase the efficacy at our local Haunted House

I have ordered 3 now 1st worked so well that I ordered a 2nd the 2nd has a defected seal so I got another not worth the time and trouble over returning for 10 dollars.

Used it in an Arduino project. Controlled a PVC "air-tank" pumped to 70psi. No leaks. Low coil current of ~500mA so I was able to use small 12v/1A wall-wart to power the whole project. Says it's rated to 115psi but I didn't try it at anything over 75psi. Response time is fast. I was using to control 100ms blasts and it worked fine. I can't comment on its ability to sustain continuous-on use (I only used it for pulsing).

Mounted this valve on my sawmill to turn the cooling water on and off a year ago. Still working great
