I put this in my sons room to replace a cheap looking home depot light fixture, it looks fantastic! The bulbs I used were those fluorescent ones that say equivalent to a 60 watt bulb...this is far to low to use. The shade does diffuse the light really well but it also darkens everything so I need brighter lights and maybe a dimmer. But the looks of this thing is as expected and came very well packaged. It's a little tricky to line up the bolts with the unit but easy other than that (helps to have two people). Definitely leave the plastic wrap on the shade until the very end when it's all installed, it's white and will show finger prints!! also wash your hands before touching the plate that goes on last because it will really show your greasy fingerprints! FYI...you have to bend one of the prongs in while putting the plate on in order to get it in there and on the middle hardware.

I am completely and utterly in love with this fixture. So in love that I have purchased SEVEN of them. They are absolutely stunning.The shade is a crisp white color, there are no undertones of beige or off-white. The brushed nickel band at the top provides a nice accent. It is flush mount and sits completely flush against the ceiling. The 15 inch size is perfect for bedrooms and hallways. I installed them in each bedroom, in the halls, and in my foyer. They have replaced the traditional builder's "boob" light. What a dramatic difference!!!This fixture gives off the perfect amount of light in the room. I cannot say how happy I am with this purchase.I have purchased previous Linea di Liara products (pendants for my kitchen) and have been equally impressed with the quality, function, and style!! You will not be disappointed.

Very nice look. I do suggest using bright bulbs, b/c the shade does dull the light a little (I've tried equivalent of 60W LED bulbs soft white in there so far, and wish it could be a bit brighter, so will try others).As others have mentioned, the instructions are quite minimal, so I watched a video on Youtube about how to do the wiring Did take two people to install at first (my first time ever installing a light fixture) , but I learned a trick (also from youtube) to use duct tape to support the shade part to the ceiling while you work on the electrical stuff. I was pretty much able to install the second one by myself. Did not need to buy different longer screws as a few others mentioned.There was an issue with the ceiling bracket that was provided. The pre-drilled holes to connect the bracket to the fixture did not quite line up with the housing box in the ceiling. But there are curved-oval slots running next to the holes circumferentially, and I just put the screws through there 180 degrees apart, and that worked fine.Overall, a good light, easy to install. taking away one star due to scant instructions.

Lovely clean, modern looking lamps for our bedroom. Great customer service from Linea directly. One item was chipped when we received it, and they immediately shipped out a new replacement part without hesitation. Only ding was one part of the installation. It was quite simple except trying to line the long screws from the ceiling mount with the holes in the base of the lamp. The metal ring across the top of the lamp is flush with the ceiling blocking your view of where the screws are in relation to the holes. We finally tied a piece of thread to the screw, threaded that through the hole and tugged the lamp around to find the screw. Once we finally got it to line up, the rest was a breeze to install. It was worth the extra time, as the lamps look sharp.

After 2 weeks of use, it stopped working. Yes I changed the light bulbs. What a disappointment. Looks nice though.

First off. The install was super easy. Well labeled and all the correct screws and parts. The bad stuff. The light is DIM. For a 15 inch drum light to fill an entire room. It's does a poor job with 100watt LED equivalent light. My old light fixture with the same 100watt LED equivalent was significantly brighter. That old fixture was a cheap $25 home depot texture. Third, the lamp looks good when turned off. When turned on, the plastic diffuser shows the 3 tiny feet. The diffuser has small black spots. Fourth, the light fixture has an OK finish, if you look too closely will look cheap. The diffuser does not fit the drum exactly, there are gaps showing. The drum looks cheaply glued together. I'd say pay more for a glass diffuser and better construction. For the price, it's not too bad, but the dim lighting was a huge disappointment.

Everything fit perfectly and it took ten minutes to install. The plastic diffuser looks god, fits good and diffuses light well. The grey shade has a nice fabric and fits the base and diffuser well. Don't be tempted by the hype of the Kira brand lamp with a glass diffuser (I was - big mistake) - this lamp is nice quality and looks great installed.

THIS FLUSH CEILING LIGHT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.-AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. WITH THE WIDE LINEN SHADE AROUND MOST OF IT, - THIS CEILING LIGHT IS PERFECT FOR EVERYWHERE IN YOUR HOME OR APARTMENT. WE USE IT IN A HALLWAY!EVERYONE WHO VISITS, COMENTS FAVORABLY ABOUT IT. WE ARE THINKING OF GETTING ANOTHER ONE FOR THE OTHER HALLWAY TO SPRUCE IT UP. LET US FACE IT, HALLWAYS ALWAYS NEED HELP! BUT IT WOULD ALSO DO WELL IN A KITCHEN OR BATH. IT IS SIMPLY GREAT LOOKING AND NOT DIFFICULT TO INSTALL . COMES WITH MOUNTING HARDWARE.

Bought 2 and one did not come with all the pieces. Missing the bottom. Very frustrating after putting it all up
