I’m about to pierce my ears can I use this earring as my first?

I believe you would need an earring with a 14k post or higher. Ask a store that specializes in doing piercings or a doctor. I liked theses earrings but I need to pinch the backs tighter because I’m afraid the back will slip off the post.
