La Belle Foie Gras Grade A, Whole Frozen, 1.6 - 2.1 LBS

We ordered this for father day. We pan fried it with apples and pears and it was as expected. The foie looked great, deveined, large, generous block. I cut it into smaller slices fairly well. After a light frying in the pan, the texture was smooth and it tasted great as expected. Rich, creamy, velvety, melt in your mouth, great taste. This was everything we expected. It was a great meal. Great product, we will order it again.

I was surprised how big it is. My wife doesn't like liver, so it is just me. Though it arrived very cold, it was not frozed. I cleaned it, quartered it, shrink wrapped them and put the three into the freezer and they are fine. The first one I cut into about half inch medallions and sauteed. I then salted and tasted the liver. It was subtle and delicate and rich. After eating what I could on toasted homemade sourdough bread, I took the rest and broke up the medallions and put the pieces in a glass refrigerator container, poured the small amount of oil in the pan over the top, sealed it and refrigerated it. I ate off it for about two weeks and there is still plenty left and it is not even close to being spoiled or old tasting. This stuff goes a long way. I even convinced my wife into tasting it and she was surprised how mellow it is. I love chicken livers, but she won't even get near them, so this liver is special. I am very pleased with the purchase and the 3 chunks I still have in the freezer for another few special occasions.

I was lucky and got a really large portion, just over 2 lbs. The liver tasted delicious, high quality product. Arrived in under 24 hours, still frozen. My whole family loved it. Will buy again, grade A product. Highly recommend.

Large Grade A foie gras quickly delivered across the country in a day, arrived frozen in insulated container. Enjoyed in three meals because it is perishable once thawed.

We have consistently been pleased with all our purchases from La Belle Farms. Admittedly these products are a rare luxury for us, but when it comes to quality for a VERY special occasion celebration dinner, La Belle is the best! One Magret Moulard duck, plus foie gras and accompanying sides easily provides a 5 course meal for 12 - 14. If you know how to prepare and serve duck and foie gras with inexpensive accompanying sides you can virtually feed a village. Discounting drinks, price wise this dinner works out little more than takeout for 12 -14 from McDonald's or Burger King. A dinner like this at an upscale restaurant could easily cost $100+ a person. We feel fortunate and very grateful in being able to treat our friends and loved one's to a delicious and very special celebration dinner

I have been a Chef for over 20 years and this was one of the best lobes I ever had. No veins, super clear and seared up beautifully. I will be buying again !!!

Received this product on Friday, kinda frozen. Did not weight it right away I should have as the label on it was ripped. Weighting it now and it is a 3rd of the expected weight...what a joke

Amazing quality, great packaging! I will order again. I am a chef and my regular vendor did not have any foie gras without ordering it seperately and charging me a fortune. This foie gras was great quality and a great price. It came packed in its own cooler with dry ice. I will buy from them again.
