Hello, is this soy-free?

There is no soy in any of the ingredients so yes it is soy-free.

does it taste like coconut?

I personally do not think it taste like coconut, just a good butter taste.

Is this for popping or topping?

We use this for popping. Add this and flavacol while heating before the popcorn seeds go in and you have movie style popcorn with no additional topping. Yum!
