It’s so cute … and the funny thing is my daughter bought one just like it and we didn’t even compare. She loves hers too!!

I love this kettle. In fact, I have bought 2 of these. The first one I forgot to put the whistle down and then forgot it was on the stove. It boiled dry and warped bad enough I could hardly get the lid off. When I put it out on trash day I just set it on the curb. Within a very short time it sprouted legs and ran away before the trash people came! (Pretty amazing little tea kettle, huh?). I immediately ordered a new one just like the previous one. I am impressed especially by the way the bottom of the kettle is integrated into the body -- no rolled edge. It boils beautifully on my induction cook top. I like the wood look of the silicone handle and lid combined with the paint spattered gray body. The ability to remove the lid makes it easy to clean out the hard water minerals left by the water as it boils, and because of the silicone handle I don't need a pot holder to pick up the kettle when it is hot. I do wonder, though. Since its poor burned predecessor ran away from the curb, maybe this new one, when all is quiet in the house, will do a little dance on the stove.

At this time I am giving only 4 stars but can come back and elevate to 5. The style, the workmanship and the color are very good. Like the handle etc. Noticed the inside and bottom were stainless steel which appears to be durable. Workmanship is good. I wish I could have gotten a lime green that has the color appearance as this blue teakettle that I got has. I would have chosen green, but thought the color in this on was too dull. The blue which also goes with my kitchen colors is beautiful. Had to use it tonight for heating water for hot chocolate. I always use defusiors on my gas stove top. I checked the progress and there was no noise from the whistle. A small amount of steam came from around the lid, so I poured th water. It was sufficiently hot. I will check later to see if the whistle works. The handle was fairly hot so used pot holder. I am very satisfied with the teakettle, but hope that the whistle will work. I especially like the size, It is large enough and not too heavy nor too big to use. We shall see how this endures with one who will use it frequently.

Does what it is supposed to do. Whistles when ready. Looks nice on cooktop. Gas has blackened sides somewhat over time. Haven’t tried to clean the soot off (wife thinks it adds character).

LOVE This tea pot! it's very sturdy, very loud whistle, visually appealing in my kitchen.

I have this kettle for 10 days now. The wood looking parts already are burned. Not sure how safe it is, definitely not looking good. Throught I like the color of kettle itself. The whistle is not too loud. For some it could be a preference. Will try to return it. Another thing is handdle. There is no way you will take it with hands. It's very hot and will require towel.

Très belle visuellement! Se prend aussi bien pour la remplir même si elle est chaude, on ne se brûle pas! Le sifflet est un peu tannant il faut le laisser ouvert pour ne pas l’entendre!

Ein schöner Wasserkessel und ein echter Hingucker in der Küche. Für mich dürfte er auf Induktion ein bisschen schneller kochen aber es funktioniert.

Sieht nicht nur toll aus sondern macht auch ihren Job. Wasser lässt sich einfach einfüllen. Wenn es kocht pfeift er laut. Er ist sehr leicht.

Sehr schön anzusehen, aber das war es leider auch. Besteht aus sehr dünnem Blech, lässt sich sehr schlecht komplett entleeren, da man den Kocher dann fast senkrecht über Kopf halten muss. Der Mechanismus zum öffnen ist praktisch, allerdings bezweifle ich stark die Langlebigkeit bei einem täglichen Gebrauch. Für mich nicht hochwertig genug für den hohen Preis. Für 30€ OK, für über 60€ nein! Vom 14-tägigen Rückgaberecht gebrauch gemacht und weiter auf der Suche nach einem hochwertigen Kocher.
