Great organic foraging food
I’ve been purchasing Perfect Pet and its companion Exotic Food for my various parrots for well over 20 years. At times, to save money, we have had to mix this with the less expensive brands, all touting to be nutritious. Each time, my beautiful flock’s feathers become less shiny within weeks, their beaks and legs seem to become dry, and they are not as happy. To maintain a healthy weight while giving my flock natural time to forage, I stick with Perfect Parrot. It has been tough with the price hikes, but in the warmer weather, the cost usually drops again. It truly is worth cutting other personal costs elsewhere for my babies.

Well balanced diet and human grade!
This parrot food is human grade and contains a well balanced diet of various nuts, dried fruit, seeds! My parrot loves this food and has been on it for almost three decades! 🦜♥️

Good mix parrot food
My Goffin’s Cockatoo is picky . He ate it but was more excited to see it the second bag . It is fresh. Smells wonderful . It is like daily treat and great for hiding in his search toys . the nuts and coconut are a favorite. Keep it in the refrigerator so room temperature is when he digs in to enjoy

That the Cost is high is the only downfall for me.
The food is fresh and it has a lot of fruit and nuts, but it’s costly. It hasn’t stopped me from using it though.

VERY disappointed
I thought this would be a perfect food for my African Grey Parrot but I can see that the bright colors of the fruits indicate that there would be an enhancer as dried fruit doesn't keep that bright color when it is dried. I could pick out all of those pieces but only after 5 weeks, the food smells spoiled and you can smell the oils from the nuts are going rancid! Buyer beware as you cannot get a refund, and I will be writing to the seller. Such a shame for a very expensive product.
