First impressions....
I recently ordered the Redmi Note 7 64GB from Amazon (but supplied by Mi World). I elected for free delivery & product arrived promptly after just three days.I've yet to set up the phone but there are a few things I wanted to say early on as they may be of interest to others.First, the phone arrived in a cellophane SEALED package (in other words, this isn't a phone that has been opened & 'reflashed' by a third party).Secondly, the model number is M1901F7G. According to Google, this is the model that has LTE Band 20. The box also contains a UK three pin plug charger. From what I've ascertained, this is the so-called 'Hong Kong' version of the phone as opposed to the proper 'Global' version. Although the hardware is the same, the ROM is slightly different. Although I've yet to check it out, I read this has implications (for example you can't set up face unlock unless you set your region to HK).One last thing...the photographs of this phone do not do it justice. When I first took it out if the box, I thought wow!!! It looks absolutely stunning.

A great phone at a great price
I ordered the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 4GB RAM 64GB ROM Snapdragon 660 Octa Core 4000mAh Blue UK version of this device and am more than happy with it.I will try to clear up a few queries that keep popping up in questions asked on here first.First the contents...Basic but perfectly functional Clear silicone TPU caseUK Power SupplyUSB-A to USB-C Charger/data cableUser guideSim Eject toolThis is a UK version of the device (It is not the Global version or Chinese version, there seems to be conflicting information on that in a lot of the questions). It comes with a 3 Pin UK PSU (NOT a 2 Pin PSU like you would get with the Global versions or a chinese PSU). The exact model number in the phones settings is 'M1901F7G'.Band wise (see attached image from the user guide and images of other in box stuff) for 4G this will work with ALL UK networks including 02 which uses Band 20. The device supports bands 1,3,7,8,20,38,40.Now as to the phone itself. The device is beautiful to look at has Glass on both the back and front and the blue back on the version i got gives a nice gradient reflective effect that looks stunning in sun light.Performance wise is again superb, only phones seriously more expensive that this will benchmark significantly better. There is no slow down what i have noticed. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 chip.In the little over 1 month since i have owned it im pleased to report there are no adverts, which is something i was worried about when reading around with regards to the MIUI skinned OS. It appears it will only display adverts if during setup you select a region where Xiaomi target advertising (from what i understand this is some Indian and some Far East/Asian regions). For most of us reading that will choose the UK it appears no adverts get displayed (whether Xiaomi will change that down the line i do not know but for now this version of the phone if set to UK/GB as region does not display ads). The camera of the device again is great, it takes crisp sharp shots easily. Focus and shutter times are quick and even with a slightly shaky hand photos still often turn out just fine (something that could not be said for my last phone).Video by default is 1080P 60FPS or 30FPS. 1080P at 30FPS with image stabilisation on seems to give the better video recording (with 1080P 60FPS image stabilisation IMO is not as good but still works). If you download 'Opencamera' from the google play store you can also record video in 4K with that app.Battery life is good though IMO not amazing, you can expect to get about 2 days use per charge out of the device with normal use, a heavy user (unless you are gaming constantly) can expect to still go a whole day with ease and not needing to charge. My older phone would last about 3 days with normal use but that only had a 4 inch screen.Other nice features to the phone are a headphone jack, FM Radio/app built in, and an IR blaster with an app which you can use as a remote control for your TV and a bunch of other devices. There is a built in gyroscope and compass also. It also has Google Play and the full range of google apps installed by default (IE maps, Music, Gmail, Youtube etc).As far as Junk apps which come with it the only ones i could spot are basically Xiaomis own browser (dont worry it also has Chrome and Opera installed). AliExpress app (a far east shopping site) a couple of Xiaomi apps one is a feedback app, a security app and a miforum app (none of which i have used and none of which have nagged my thus far)Oh and there is also Netflix and Facebook installed by default (those 2 may or may not be junk depending on individual). All of them from what i can tell can be uninstalled if you wish.As far as im concerned the build, function and speed of the phone i doubt you will get better for under £200. I would happily buy this again and would happily recommend it to friends.I hope that covers most of the important stuff :)

Love it so far
Upgraded from a Huawei P9 Lite, i'm loving the phone so far. Delivery from this seller was excellent and quick, product was as described. Screen looks great, fingerprint sensor is fast and phone runs incredibly smooth (may just be the fact its a new phone). So far no problems, a few things to note for those who want to purchase this phone:1) Bloatware - Phone (like most) comes with some bloatware, although you are able to uninstall them (full uninstall, not disable).2) Advertisements - ads are built in to MIUI, however you can manually disable them - look online on how to3) Lock Screen Notifications - from what I've seen, by default, lock screen notifications are disabled on installed apps so you'd need to go around manually enabling them for each of your apps.If any problems arise i will update this review, but for now... for £180... it's dang on worth it.

Fantastic value for such a high-end device
I'm not a big fan of smartphones really, Apple, Google - they all bore me, but this Xiaomi is the best mobile device I've ever owned for a mere £180, the wife has an expensive Samsung but this Note 7 is much nicer. I've taken some amazing photographs, it has a large clear screen and has a well designed MIUI interface - far nicer than normal boring Android. The battery life seems excellent so far too. I don't use Google stuff so I disabled those apps and just installed Amazon's app store and some others to get the apps I want. I'm very happy with it.UPDATE: 6 months later and I am still very happy with it, it upgraded itself to the latest Android and MIUI.

Not worth the hype.
I brought this phone not long after its release in the UK after hearing about its "amazing camera". Once I had received it, it was a lovely looking phone but the operating system just wasn't that good. It was slow, apps crashed often and many didn't open unless I pressed the screen a certain way. I wasn't overly impressed with the camera either, definitely was expecting more. Anyway, I don't know if it was just down to the software on my device or a fault with the device but I wouldn't personally recommend it from my experience. Though I have had a great experience with other Xiaomi phones which I am going back to when I get my refund on this device.
