These knives are the best and sharpest knives I have ever bought. They look fantastic with the quality of the wooden handle and also the Damascus Road look on the blade is superb. Do yourself a favor and get the whole set! They are very well worth it and when you get through using it, just give it a couple of swipes with your knife sharpener, and this thing will stay sharp as a razor!!! There is no other knife in my drawer that I go to when I want to carve meat cut vegetables or even cut an apple in half. These are great. Get one or get the whole set! It’s worth it.

Fantastic knife, beautiful, sharp, well made

Awesome knife. I’m just getting into buying carving knives. I read many of the reviews for this one and am glad that I purchased it. It is a beautiful as great tool that is a must in any kitchen. I made tomahawk steaks recently, and it was like cutting through butter with them with this knife. I felt like a professional chef carving with this knife. The knife is very well crafted and looks like I paid a few hundred dollars for it. I love the box that it comes with. After I wash and clean the knife I put it right back in the box that fits in perfectly in my cutlery drawer. This knife will stand up against any of those expensive Japanese carving knives. This would make a great gift for anyone.

I find carving a turkey breast, particularly with the skin still attached, you need a serrated blade to slice it properly. Even though the Paudin 8” is super sharp, it tears rather than slices evenly and creates a mess. Having said that, it cuts and dices like crazy and I am happy with this product. and would certainly purchase it again!

It is very sharp so you have to be careful when using it so as to not cut yourself. With that said, l love how easy is cuts through meat and vegetables.

It looks like a very expensive knife and slices meats really easily as expected. Initially, I didn't know if this would be a good knife to slice a lump of meat but once I tried it on a pork shoulder portion, it went through the meat really smooth and clean. In fact, it sliced much better than a twin knife. In addition, we used the tip of the handle to crush garlic and worked great. Honestly, I am glad that I decided to buy this knife and happy with this purchase.
