Christow Walk-In Garden Greenhouse, Reinforced Cover, 8 Shelves

I needed a nursery greenhouse for my vegetable research. I like to make tests with plants and try new forms of soil enrichment with cooking leftovers. Just a hobby. Like to collect the vegetables at the end after all.Since North England the weather is not the best, I decided to buy 2 greenhouses for my starting seeds and for growing some vegetables. I have a lot of birds in the area.This one I bought it more for the nursery purpose, since it has several shelves.Was easy to assemble, probably will take some more time for someone who is not used to do this kind of work, but at the end it managed to be sturdy and nice greenhouse.Since this is a windy area, it already resisted the wind tests with just some pots in the bottom shelves.Very happy with the buy.

I had been growing dragon fruit in my kitchen for the past 2.5 years so they were getting too tall for the window, so decided to get a cheap greenhouse for now, especially as my neighbours like their kid kicking balls into our garden non stop. So this was perfect, I'm only 5ft 1 and set up the entire thing on my own within 45 minutes and no ladder (I shimmied the cover from inside) the instructions are not very easy to understand so there's a lot of guesswork involved, the shelves will need cable ties as they're rubbish (however my dragon fruit are too tall for the top shelves to be clipped anyway). I closed it overnight and when I went to open it I was pleasantly surprised that it was hotter inside than outside. I also like that it's UV protected so less sunburn to my plants, however I don't know what will happen in the strong wind as the outer pegs feel too flimsy, so will probably be switched with spare tent pegs.

Great greenhouse, very sturdy, well labled, just started to use it, one person can put frame up but the cover is a struggle and I could have used another person to put the cover on. Also the shelves won’t stay on with the clips given I used cable ties to fix them.

I’ve had this greenhouse since February and it’s the best greenhouse that I’ve bought.It did its job throughout the end of winter and into Spring, meaning that I was able to get a head start on planting my seeds. The shelves inside can hold a fair bit of weight, however I wouldn’t put too much on them. As in, fully grown plants.I’ve had a lot of people compliment how nice it looks in the garden to say it’s not a fancy permanent greenhouse. And even in strong winds, the greenhouse has stayed upright and not moved. I haven’t used any ties to make sure that my greenhouse stays in place during poor weather. However I found that a few bags of compost along the bottom frame did just fine.A great greenhouse for those who want good quality without paying £££. Highly recommend.

All grow house pieces present. Delivered on time. Went up in less than 60 minutes (don't confuse your E's and D's. You''ll see what I mean).The grow house was easy for me to assemble on my own. No difficulty getting the cover on (the vendor sells spare covers on Amazon, btw). The cover is nice and thick. I weighed the structure down with heavy bricks and rocks placed on wooden boards laid below the shelves within the structure and I tethered the structure to both a fence and a manhole cover (hope the waterboard doesn't need access to the drains any time soon).Overall I am happy with this purchase.# Build AdviceInstructions are few but clear enough to follow. The metal tubes are wrapped together according to length. Each wrap has a number on it. The number relates to the number printed in the instruction leaflet. The plastic joints are lettered. The letters are on the joints themselves, though are easy to miss. These letters relate to the letters printed in the instruction leaflet. Build the base then one side. You'll put the other side up quicker this way. Leave the roof until last. The shortest tubes form the horizontal supports for the shelves. The next shortest tubes -- there are more of these tubes than of the others -- form the vertical supports of the shelves. There are only plastic two shelf grips per shelf. These form a hinge. The instructions suggest to put the hinges on the nearside horizontal cross bar (nearest side to you as you stand in the grow house). This is so the shelves can be dangled down the cabinet easily to create growing room for tall plants. I put the hinges at the rear so I can tie them back when I open up the growing space; just personal preference.Remember to keep the door closed and the base sealed to prevent wind turning your grow house into a UFO.

She's a pretty decent greenhouse. Have a seat & a cool drink and watch how easily it can be assembled by your Sister, Brother, Partner or Friend. I use it for seedlings, most of them pass away but that's more my fault than that of the greenhouse. I have managed to grow some stuff including tomatoes, courgettes and 3 strawberries. The shelving is a bit flimsy and dramatic but stick a few cable ties on and bobs your uncle. The real test will be the winter weather, have had a bit of wind and it hasn't taken flight yet. My dog's like to water the front of the greenhouse, this might cause wear and tear sooner than later. Good quality for the price but I don't expect we will grow old together.

Excellent garden greenhouse good size and very easy instructions to set up.All together in an hour and it Looks great, so very happy.Room inside to stand up and plant up excellent. A nice zipped front with 2 plastic locking retainer clips to secure when open,which is great as the previous greenhouse used fabric ties, awkward and terrible when wet.Very pleased with the finish of this one.

It baffles me that anyone could give this a 5-star review. The craftmanship and quality of the components is utterly dreadful. The tubes that form the frame are strong enough, but the plastic connectors are awful. Two of them snapped for me on assembling the greenhouse, just from exerting the small amount of pressure needed to align them with the tubes. Once the second one snapped, I'd had enough, so started disassembling and that was even worse. The tubes often become firmly stuck in the plastic connectors, making it impossible to detach them without considerable force, which then causes them to snap. I snapped a further 3 on taking the structure down. It is then totally impossible to repack back into the same box. Once it's out the box, it is not going back in, making returning it an immediate headache. Not to mention the size of the thing also making it a nightmare to return.Then there's the shelves - flimsy wire about the thickness of spaghetti. Forget putting anything on the shelves that weights anything more than a few pounds, as each shelf is attached with just two flimsy slips. If you put a potted plant on those shelves - even a small one - the shelf bows and bends through the framing. I tried putting a small potted plant on one of the shelves and couldn't even let go of it as its full weight would have caused the plastic clips to snap.More flimsy plastic to be found in the ground stakes - try stepping on one to push it into the ground and you'll find those snap very readily, also.Do not waste your money on this. The space you get for actual growing is really not much more than the taller, non-walk-in grow houses you can get, and those are usually made of wood and might last you more than one season.
