Contigo 24oz Jackson Water Bottles, 3 Pack (Seagoing, Marigold, Sangria)

We're an active family with four kids. Over the years we have gone through countless water bottles - they all either get lost or broken within a couple months. The Contigo brand usually lasts a little longer. This particular bottle I can see lasting the longest.First off, the bad part - the latch can be sticky. We have had some "false closes" that have resulted in spills, but we have learned from them. I have seen a couple reports that little kids have trouble getting it open, but my four year old doesn't have any issues. And she can usually get them closed on her own as well. I'm also a little concerned about the o-ring at the top of the lid that keeps it from leaking. One has already come dislodged - I put it back in place, but this was the downfall of one of my last Contigo brand bottles. The o-ring fell out during a refill and was lost, resulting in a leaky, useless bottle. My suggestion would be to hand wash the top and avoid the high temperatures in the dishwasher and keep an eye on that ring.And now the good - the spout really is ergonomically designed to make sipping easy. I was worried about my four year old using it, but she has no problems. This size (24 oz) is also the perfect size for car cupholders. We had 32 oz bottles in a different size that only fit in side pocket cup holders - that was inconvenient. Also, the colored ring at the top makes it easier to hand all three bottles to one kid and know that you're no overloading them.Overall, I'm about as happy as I have ever been given the price and quality. We will be buying another 3 pack so that everyone can be assigned a color.

By far the best water bottles I have ever used. I LOVE these colors the most out of any Contigos I have had. I ordered a back -up set in case I lose one while traveling because all of the colors are so rich. They don't wear out but sometimes I inadvertently leave them in rental cars.Update: I see that many people are commenting on the O rings. True that if you don't have the O ring inserted (with the smooth side up/showing in the lid) the bottle will leak. However it is really easy to put in. Takes about 3 seconds to insert after it comes out of the dishwasher. Easy-peasy. I travel constantly for my job and always have a contigo water bottle with me. I have been using the same bottles for easily 4 years and they are still working great. I always toss them in the diswasher and they come out perfectly. The O rings I either put in the utensil rack in a closed section so that it won't fly out during the cycle and get lost. Or I f I don't have a closed utensil compartment available I simply use a fork (prongs down) in the utensil section and loop the O ring around one of the prongs of the fork. It keeps them put during the whole washing cycle and they come out perfect every time. Except for losing these bottles, I have never managed to break one despite the hundreds of drops and dishwasher cycles. I am buying 3 extra packs of these water bottles to have in storage because I am worried that these yummy colors might not be available forever. These are by far the best water bottles I have ever tried and they last a really long time. Plus they are pretty. I have never seen another water bottle take the care to match the color of the bottle and the color of the O ring perfectly. Most just have boring black O rings. Even though it might be a silly aspect, I think it shows the quality of the construction for the company to make the effort to color match the O rings. Plus it makes it super easy to identify the parts of each water bottle when you have several in the dishwasher at once.

I would have been willing to give these 5 stars because this was our second set and we really like them. Through some drops of a couple of our bottles, we have only had minimal damage.The reason I only give this 4 stars is because 1 out of 6 of these we have purchased does leak. I am not sure if the issue is the lid or the cup (though I believe it is the fitting of the lid) but it leaks.Not a big leak, but it does drip after tipping to drink or if tipped over on its side.Over all, I would really recommend this product. They work great as they say they do, I just got one cup out of 6 that has a small drip issue.

In design, these bottles are, IMO, perfect: the tapered, screw-off lid (easy for ice), the built-into-the-top carry ring, the sleek size and shape that holds 24 ozs. and still goes anywhere easily, the ability to use them completely one-handed, the ease of cleaning... Yes, you do have to be somewhat careful about the rubber seals falling out or becoming dislodged - but not excessively. The flip-top mechanism can be a little less than perfect on every open or close. Better construction might make them heavier, which I wouldn't want. I'd rather just be resigned to replacing them every so often. But between the great design and the gorgeous colors, these are still my favorite water bottles...and I've tried LOTS.

I really love these water bottles. I like the way the drinking lip is smooth and comfortable to drink from. I like the size it had a nice feel over all. What I don't like is the seal in the tip can come out if you don't wash it carefully...definitely don't wash in the dishwasher. Also the ring on the tip although handy dio you can carry something on your hands along with the bottle should flip open much easier. Again I love the bottle, it's my favorite I've found...4 stars are due to the fact that there is room for improvement.
