At a loss for words
Warning, it's a long read, but I wanted to go into deep detail. To start, I have been a Rainbow vacuum user for so long. I love them and felt they worked amazingly. Next, I have 3 dogs & a cat. One is a thick coat lab and the cat sheds so much as well. Another next, I have horrible allergies and wanted something that would help keep them calm as well. I also have a lung disease and need something that will pick up as much junk as possible to keep them clear. Now, on to the Shark vacuum. I got tired of lugging around the Rainbow and wanted to look into a vacuum that my daughter could use and help out. I found this Shark vacuum and 6 others that grabbed my attention. I dug deep. I read through every review, good, bad, indifferent. I wanted a vacuum that was going to truly pick up pet hair/dander, as well as pick up sand & dirt. I was drawn to this specific vacuum saying pet & allergen vacuum and loved that so many of the reviews said it had amazing suction power. I thought there's no way ut can be as amazing as most were raving about. After 2 months of digging and narrowing down vacuums, I was left with this one. I finally decided to purchase it and see what all the fuss was about. It came in today and I immediately out it together to the it out. I had just vacuumed with my Rainbow vacuum 2 days before, so I didn't expect much. Oh....my....gosh...! I am blown away! Seriously, no joke! The picture you see attached was after 2 passes over a 2' x 2' area in my living room. Not kidding...pushed it forward, pulled it back. Did this one other time. I was completely astonished! There is no way my carpet is that dirty after using my Rainbow 2 days before! I swore by that vacuum and how great of a job it did, so I thought. This vacuum pulled out dirt, sand, pet fur from 3 families ago, it seems lol. I immediately took this picture and dumped the resivoir since it was full. I was excited to finish the rest of my living room and then move on to the rest of the house. It took me 30 minutes to vacuum my living room because I had to keep stopping to empty the reservoir. I am grossed out that it was that dirty, but so grateful that I purchased this Shark vacuum. The vacuum is super easy to put together. It's not heavy and is easy to use. I love that it has the large vacuum and the option to break it down to a hand held vacuum to get baseboards and hard to reach areas. I also love that the power switch has 3 positions; Off, Bare floor, and carpet. I love that there is a place on the vacuum for hose attachments. I love that the power cable is quite long. I love that it's compact enough to fit in my coat closet, but large enough to vacuum the living room quicker than the sport vacuum. It makes vacuuming a breeze. The price is amazing for being a Shark vacuum. This vacuum is so amazing that I finished vacuuming, rinsed the resivoir and filter, put it away, and immediately sat down to write this review. Seriously give this vacuum a try! Your only regret is that you didn't get it sooner. I will update this review if anything changes. I am convinced this is the perfect vacuum.

Impressive product
Let me tell you Iโve gone through my fair share of vacuums that all ended up in the vacuum cemetery โaka, the garage. Iโve just grown accustomed to expect them to have a low life expectancy, lasting about a year with the typical amount of uses in an average home. I just got this vacuum today and just finished vacuuming two living rooms (1 carpeted), dining room (carpeted), 2 out of 3 bedrooms (1 carpeted & 1 hard wood), 2 hallways (tile), the kitchen (tile) & the bathroom (tile) and the amount of debris and noticeable dust particles that this machine picked up is admittedly embarrassing to my cleaning abilities!! After finishing, the entire house feels fresher & CLEANER. The true built-in HEPA filter is a GAME CHANGER & makes this product completely worth it! The dual modes to change from carpet to bare floors made it so easy with the flip of a switch to go from room to room picking up all the gunk, and the high suction hose that extends out was so useful in getting into the crevices in the corners of the walls & on top of the door frames. After all this my arm and shoulders arenโt even achey because the machine is so lightweight you can push it with just two fingers. Because of all of this I felt compelled to sit and write this review as soon as I finished up so that if you get the opportunity to get the same prime day deal I gotโYOU JUMP ON IT!! As far as durability, only time will tell, but a company who offers a 5 year warranty on a product must have confidence that their product will last that long AT LEAST & thats far more than the usual vacuum cleaner typically lasts as I said from the beginning!

Best in class product design and customer service
I bought my Shark Navigator over four years ago. Itโs been effective and easy to use and maintain ever since. Last week, the roller brush stopped spinning. Still plenty of suction, but no brush action. I called Shark seeking troubleshooting guidance. After ruling out a couple of possibilities, the part was determined to be defective and the agent immediately shipped a replacement brush unit as well as new filters under warranty. Unfortunately, the new part didnโt work either, so I called back. That agent decided the whole vacuum was defective and shipped a brand new vacuum under warranty. This is my second Shark vacuum, the first is 15 years old and is still operational and in use on my second floor. Do not hesitate to buy from Shark. They design and manufacture great products and stand behind them like companies rarely do anymore.

Could be better on hardwood, great for stairs
So I bought this because I hadnโt bought a new vacuum for about 5 years. Right away, the suction was great. I use pine pellet litter for my cats, and while itโs decent at picking it up, it almost feels either a little too big or maybe too heavy for it because it takes a second in order to pick it up. I also noticed that while I went over my dining room, it sorta looked like I hadnโt vacuumed much even though I took a little bit of time with it. However, the suction still felt like it was good so Iโm not sure if itโs just operator error or not. Itโs fairly lightweight and makes about as much noise as any other typical household vacuum does. I have not tried it on high pile carpet yet, but I assume it will work alright because it has some crazy suction while on low pile/area rugs. The lift-away feature is amazing for stairs. I have hardwood stairs with some carpet pieces on top. The carpet pieces get particularly dirty and the vacuum has enough cord in order for me to reach the top of the stairs and get everything. The crevice tool was handy for getting the corners of the stairs and the upholstery tool was good for the hair our cats leave everywhere and I fully cleaned my couch of cat hair with it. Overall, I think itโs a good vacuum, but Iโm not too sure about its ability on hardwood.

Great vacuum for a great price!
Exactly what I needed and wanted. It has great power and is easy to setup. We have two dogs and it does a great job! If you are familiar with Shark vacuums I found it to be similar to other models as far as how to empty the bin and the setting adjustment.

This is THE ONE!
After getting so frustrated with my old upright vacuum, I did a lot of research and decided on this Shark. Wow! I knew my old vacuum wasnโt performing well, but one pass with this Shark proved it was even worse than I realized! With three cats, houseplants, tile floors, and area rugs, I needed something powerful, versatile, and easy to maneuver. This vacuum has exceeded my expectations! It transitions seamlessly between hard floors and rugs, and the suction is outstanding. Pet hair? No problem. It picks it up with ease and hasnโt clogged once. I also love the sleek design, how lightweight it feels, and how easily it glides around furniture. The brush head reaches under many pieces of furniture and cleans right up to baseboards. The floor-type switch is conveniently located and makes changing between surfaces effortless. For the first time in a long while, vacuuming doesnโt feel like a chore. My floors are noticeably cleaner, and I actually enjoy using this vacuum. If youโre looking for a powerful, well-designed vacuumโespecially for a home with petsโI highly recommend this Shark.

Very strong suction!
We bought around black Friday, because my other one bit the dust the week before the holiday. I decided to try a Shark this time based solely on reviews because I didn't want to spend as much as I would need to for a Dyson and while my previous Hoover was great, it sounded like the Shark's had better suction. This one definitely had better suction than my previous Hoover of a very similar type. I am a mom of a 2 teens, and a long hair cat and they keep my floors nice and crumby, so I use my vacuum every other day (at least). I needed something "heavy duty", strong, but easy to use. This fit the bill. Pros - Strong suction and it's pretty lightweight. I'm a small woman (5'4 foot tall), so this is very important to me. - After vacuuming just once I am AMAZED (and disgusted) by the amount of stuff (hair, dirt, crumbs, etc) this thing sucks up. We don't wear shoes in our home, so it's mind boggling. - Long cord so you don't have to keep unplugging and plugging it in constantly. I think it goes a bit further than my Hoover did. - It's easy to release the hose to use it. On my previous Hoover I had to detach the hose, attach it to a certain place on the vacuum and switch the mode on it. With this one I just hit a button and it detaches. No hitting a switch and no having to remove the hose and attach it elsewhere. - It's easy to dump out the cup. - The roller has not needed to be cleaned yet. I was routinely cutting hair and string off the old roller of the old vacuum. My dog loves to destroy toys and so our home is usually strewn with stuffing, string and bit of fabric that eventually clog up the vacuum. No roller issues or clogging issues with this one so far. - It looks nice and has a nice color to it. Yeah, okay, so that doesn't "matter", but it kind of does when it's sitting in a visible place in your home. You don't want a ugly eye sore hanging around. Cons - Okay, so this was a MAJOR one for me: The suction is SO STRONG that I can't use it on the area rugs. They have a thick shag rug in both of their rooms (same rug) and it definitely will hide debris. The suction is so strong that the vacuum just gets stuck in place. This was a major issue for me and I honestly thought "I need to send this back", but I figured I could use one of the attachments (the wide one with nubs on it) and the hose to do their rugs. Fortunately, their rooms are small and the rugs are only 5x7. While I wish I could just use the vacuum normally to do their rooms, it's a trade off for the suction power that it has. It doesn't take too long to use the hose to get their carpets, but I'm always concerned about "missing a spot" because I'm using a little attachment and not the whole vacuum that covers a wide area. - The canister part of the vacuum seems very wide and clunky. It doesn't seem to affect my ability to tilt the vacuum to go under furniture, but it certainly "feels" clunky because it sits so far forward compared to the roller part. Regarding the fact it does not work well on area rugs, I recommend getting a little Shark hand vac. I got a cordless one at the same time as this vacuum and it's really super useful for small messes and for getting the area rugs when I don't feel like getting out the big vacuum.

Loved using it and despised emptying it
Iโve owned this vacuum for about two years, and overall I really like how easy it is to use. Itโs lightweight, fairly quiet, easy to maneuver, and does a good job for everyday cleaning. For a multi-level home, Iโve appreciated that itโs not overly bulky or difficult to carry around. However, the dust bin design is extremely frustrating. We have dogs and long human hair in the house, and emptying the bin often becomes a disgusting chore. Hair and debris get stuck inside, so instead of simply dumping it into the trash, I frequently have to reach in or use something like a butter knife to push everything out. Even then, I often end up with dust and dirt on my hands, and it tends to leave a little pile of debris on the floor near the trash can. That one issue has become such a regular annoyance that after being fed up with it for so long, Iโm finally upgrading to a different vacuum. I really wanted to keep loving this one because itโs so easy to use, but I absolutely hate emptying it. Maybe the new one will even be easy enough that my kids will actually vacuum. :) If you have pets, long hair, or anyone in the house who sheds a lot, Iโd think carefully before buying this model. Good vacuum in many ways, but the dust cup design could be much better.

Amazing suction power
So far, we love everything about this vacuum. I'm blown away by the power/suction it has. Not only does it pick up everything off of a rug, but also wood and linoleum floors (which is what we have mostly) but we use those vacuum-seal bags to store off-season clothes and linens and it sucks so much more air out sooo quickly! Our old vacuum was so lame compared to this one. But we have a big rug and a runner, and probably getting more rugs later. I like the fact that you can take the small canister off and use the extension wand to clean corners and up above on the ceiling (we have fairly high ceilings). It's also very lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space. It fits in a cupboard we bought to store it, that is 16"x16"x 6'. We've only had it for a month, but our son and his girlfriend bought the vacuum and I went to look at it before we ordered it and they've had it for a few months and have no complaints about it. I'm really happy we spent a little extra to get this one. We haven't used it a lot, so haven't had to empty the canister yet, but my son showed me how to do it and it looks like a breeze. The other thing, is that it does pull easier than push and we're vacuuming a .5" pile carpet. Of course on the wood/linoleum floors, no problems. The one thing I was not happy about is that I tried to call the Customer Service number 15 min. before their posted closing time and they were closed and when I sent them an email it bounced. I've not yet pursued that, but I will. My son said they had no problems with them when they discovered they were missing one of the brushes and it was sent to them.. We also didn't get the pet brush that was supposed to come with it, but we don't have any pets, so not an issue for us. Overall, I'd say that this is a great product and with the short time we've had it, we like it.

Good for the price
Overall I'm happy with the vacuum as it's great for the price. Easy to empty and clean, and great suction that you can control. The carpet brush seems to have good power. The unit overall is light and easy to lift and manoeuver. One major con...because the unit is so light and the carpet cleaner isn't too wide, using the tube with attachments in almost any capacity more than 1 foot away will tip the vacuum or handheld unit over. Maybe the Shark hose is too stiff and doesn't extend well enough without pulling the entire machine. This gets extremely annoying if you vacuum frequntly with the crevice tool or duster. I'm comparing this to my dyson multi-floor 2 which is heavier and has rarely tipped while using the hose with attachments. However, I wouldn't fault the Shark as it's $500 cheaper. Also, I found it to be a challenge to purchase accessories for the NV352 through the canadian website. The current option seems to be to try and find them on Amazon or somewhere else or order from the US website and pay US$35 international shipping.
