High expectations for less then average quality
Well, when you buy youself a "golden" watch produced by a solid manufacturer, you definately paying more in order to get an outstanding quality. This is an example of an opposite, I'm affraid! Several problems here:- the colour started to wear out in a week! Come on! Seriously??? And, please, believe me, I don't use sandpaper or something like that that could damage it! Just regular everyday usage: I work at an office and during my trainings I take this watch off... By now this watch is partially silver in colour. Considering, that one of the promotional sentences were: "great looks", it is unacceptable! And you'd rather expect it to last for more then just a few days, considering the price of the product!- problems with precision. I have to adjust the time everi 1,5-2 weeks for approximateli 1-1,5 minutes. Once again - I wasn't expecting this rather poor precision coming from this rather well-known manufacturer! My previous wathes were Citizen and Rolex - neither were so bad with the precision. In fact those were very precise!- Seiko's promotion claimed "works up to 4 days", if I remember it correctly... Well, I don't think so! Less then 48 hours is a reality. So, when I take my watch of for the week-end on Friday evening, usually on Sunday it stands still... For instance, my previous automatic Citizen could be left untouched for 3 days at least without loosing a second! So, either Seiko really lowered their quality or this is an example of one unsuccessful model? I'm not sure... But lot's of thinking recommended for all who consider buying this particular model (or brand)...
