There are many times when you are machining more than a couple of layers and pinning either causes the pin to bend or the fabric to pucker, this is when these marvelous little clips come into their own as they can easily replace pins with very little fuss. The mini clips (also known as Wonderclips) just clamp onto your project and can be left there as you sew. They are small and light with an amazing clamping power and are not bulky like clothes pegs or bulldog clips. They have a smooth, flat, plastic non-scratch base and will cause no damage to the base of your machine. The clips have an amazing clamping power with a strong spring holding the clamps together. The clips are also easy to open as the spring is in the centre of the clip. Cleverly, when clamped shut, the top piece is designed to fit into a groove on the bottom piece allowing a firm grip on the fabric without leaving a mark. so you can measure how far the clip is reaching in from the fabric edge. The clips open up to 12mm. A clamp and ruler all in one! Finally, if your using sheer fabrics or indeed pvc or leather which marks easily or where a pin hole becomes permanent, use these non marking clips for a great answer to a tricky problem
