Yes, the PS24US will work for the PGX wireless system. The PS23US is discontinued and replaced by the PS24US which offers more more energy efficiency to cut consumer utility costs.

Does this work with a Shure FP24?

from the people I talked to: I found a little more information about the FP24 mixer. As I had mentioned, the PS41US power supply seemed to work fine. The PS42US didn't seem to make a good connection, so the power went out when I wiggled the connector. I wonder if the center pin could be splayed out to make a better contact, although I'd hate to risk breaking it.The PS41 plug dimensions are 5.5mm outer diameter, 2.5mm inside diameter. Our FAQ suggests a suitable replacement: http://shure.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3928/kw/3928 I'm not sure why the PS42US seems to be slightly different.I also looked at Sound Devices' website, since they still sell the FP24 as the MixPre. It works for now

This is the second replacement that I have had to buy. It works great but is a little bit fragile. The wire covering separates at the box and causes wires to touch and spark. Will reinforce this one to try to prevent that from happening again.

OE replacement for Older PS40, PS41 and PS42 Sure Power Supplies for Various Wireless Recievers

Great replacement for failed, Missing or aged Power supplies for various series and models of Shure Wireless Receivers. Decent price.There have been various reviews about weak and failing connectors on these, But i have never had an issue. As all my receivers are rack mounted and the Power supplies screwed to the inside of the rack cases. wires Which protects them from vibrations and movement during touring and shows. I would assume the original PS40, PS41 and PS42 would also fail in the same way with the same strain on the connectors, I'd advise people to rack mount these if using them on mobile rigs that are constantly being moved around from venues and shows.
