Excellent quality, ideal cheese flavour substiute for those of us who can't eat dairy

I like my nooch, this is the usual flavour as expected, no complaints. This also has added vitamin D. However these are the smaller tubs, not the same size as the supermarkets and health food shops, so all in all expensive for what it is.

The product comes as soft flakes. The tube that it comes in is not air tight so it is adviseable to transfer it to something like a mason jar. I needed to supplement my current soft-food diet with some nutritions and flavours, and these Nutritional Yeast flakes are just what I needed. I have been adding them to my soups and mash, and they dissolve nicely. Just make sure you don't cook them as that will reduce their nutritional value, you can just add them at the end of the cooking process or straight to a dish when serving. The taste is not as cheesy as some other brands, but you do get the additional benefits of vitamin B12 and D, which not all Nutritianl Yeast products are fortified with. The amount is also perfect for me as the only user of these flakes, not too much and not too lttle, so I can use it up before the use by date.
