Good Hard Case - Highly Recommended
This Zeikos "Medium Hard Case" is reasonably tough and is able to provide a decent amount of protection to items secured inside. The case has a roomy foam interior, roughly 17" x 11.5" x 5", that can be customized to accommodate equipment by removing pieces of the pre-scored block. The sides of the case are fairly strong and can take a good bit of abuse, but it isn't as strong as other professional cases I have seen. It also isn't as expensive as those other cases. The case also comes with a total of five dividers (2 long and 3 shorter) to section off areas, a good quality removable carrying strap, and a set of keys. The locks are not the highest quality and are really the only thing that is lacking in quality on the case. Overall, this is a good quality case and a good value. Highly Recommended! CFH

Very nice case
The case is very nice. I'm using it to store my Canon XA20 and accessories. There is plenty of room for the camera (with the hot shoe off), hot shoe, lens shade and some space left over for some microphone accessories I am waiting to receive. It was easy for me to trace the camera and accessories with a red marker and then use a regular kitchen knife to cut out the already perforated squares. I guess if I need to add squares back, I could glue them back on. But, the fit on the camera is snug. There is a foam insert and large dimple foam on the lid to keep things in. There were stiff cardboard with rubberized material for creating small departments. I haven't decided if I will use them or just cut out holes in the foam. The exterior case feels very well made and looks great. Time will tell as to how well this holds up, but it feels as sturdy or more sturdy than a smaller case I got from another company and that one has worked out great. I would definitely buy another of these cases.

Great For The Price
I was a little reluctant at first to buy this, because most of these type of cases are cheap and flimsy, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I shopped around online for a few days looking for something reasonably priced that looked good, and I'm glad I chose to look here. Most cases of this quality are at least twice the price elsewhere, so it's a good find. This case has nice corners and strong side panels. Many reviews claim that the sides are made from plastic, but I have purchased 4 of these and all are made from thin aluminum...perhaps I am just lucky. Yes, the aluminum is thin, but it's adequate protection for those planning to take care of their cases. However, If you are planning on standing on it or taking it on your next excursion up Everest, then look elsewhere. The corners are chrome plated stamped steel secured by rivets, and the grey rails which cover the panel seams are sturdy aluminum. The latches hold strong, and the handle, although chrome plated plastic, fits well into the hand. The lid stays upright when open, which most cases do not. The locks on the latches are cool to look at, but they do not off any real protection...a nail file from a set of nail clippers can be used to open them. Many gave bad reviews because of this, but who cares anyway? Are we actually expecting Fort Knox security for $30? Even if the locks could withstand a hammer and chisel , the rest of the case wouldn't, so why expect expensive locks? The colors used in this case are very pleasing to the eye and at first glance. Fresh out of the box, it looks like something you paid $200 for, which put a smile on my face immediately. The combination of chrome, dark grey, and light grey really make it look like a high end equipment case. The carry strap is very functional and the rivets which hold it onto each side of the case are very strong. I have carried nearly 60 pounds in these cases with no problem. The lid's hinge seems to work pretty good as well...hardly any play in them. As for the interior, it is also well done. The pick and pluck foam insert is easy to work with, and easily customizes to any size or shape. Although the foam inside is diced and can be plucked, you will still need to use a sharp X-acto knife to make things easier. Also, keep in mind that it comes apart in tiny squares, so any pocket you make will have a blocky type shape to it. If you want round edges and smooth shapes, you're going to have some serious trimming to do. I made a mistake when doing mine, by making one space a little too big. Be sure to save all your plucked foam until you're happy with the final placement of all your equipment! I was easily able to make it the right size by taking some of the picked off smaller pieces and gluing them back together with standard rubber cement. Don't use super glue or it will melt the foam and turn it white...super glue can leave a white residue after it dries. The case also comes with a set of dividers for more customization, and they too can be trimmed, but you're going to need a saw for a clean cut as they are made from wood covered in a thin rubbery material. Overall, this is a great case for the money, and shipping was very fast! I highly suggest getting one of these if you're on a budget. I'm a paranormal investigator, and this holds all my delicate electronic equipment very well. I have over $1,000 of equipment in one of them, and I do not worry about it being protected. I get many compliments from my clients, who tell me that these are very professional looking. I have suggested all my team members use these cases, and I will be buying more of them!

Great case for the price!
Good, well made case for the price. Not super heavy (would not survive checked baggage), but great for carry on and general use. I use it to carry my basic camera set. It holds my Nikon camera, 3 lenses, Nikon flash, spare batteries and charger, and several odds and ends. The foam padding and pick foam are great. Bottom padding is a little light, but as top case foam is heavy I used the flat 1/2 inch sheet that comes on top of the pick foam under it and it provides great all around protection. Locks are minimal strength and would be easy to break into, but their purpose is not high security. Great case for the money.

Spectacular!!!
An awesome case. There are so many combinations with this case. The great thing about this series too is that there are so many other sizes. This is the medium case, there's three others larger than this one, and two more smaller. Foam padding lined on the inside top and bottom, plus cut-away foam padding and removable foam panels allows for almost any compartment design. The air gasket insures a good seal around the case. I've never gotten any dirt or water inside. The exterior is very durable. Chrome-plated frame, latches, hinges, and two chrome keys for locking. A shoulder strap adds to the carrying assistance. I personally don't use the strap, but the handle is very sturdy too. Worth the money through this brand.

"You get what you pay for" period!
Its a great case for the money. but only the frame is aluminum. The panels are made of 1/8 masonite (wood) with a textured decal on the oustide. DONT try to put anything too heavy in it or the wood may come out of the channel. You can NOT stand on this case. it is not as rugged as it looks, but a great case if do dont plan on abusing it. Nice and roomy and the foam is great for shaping the compartments for you items. I am neutral on it. I was expecting better by the way it looks, but then I consider what I paid for it VS a $200 case and remember "you get what you pay for"
