Best budget brakes for a wheelie bike
Super affordable and efficient upgrade for my bike. Brakes were super easy to install and required no modification to the bike itself. Just had to unscrew the bolts from the old brakes and screwed the new ones in. Havent had issues with them in the past 2 years. Hold a bleed, and pads wear relatively slow. Great upgrade for any disc break wheelie bike.

Excellent. Purchased to replace a failing rear brake setup on my sons bike. This install took 10 mins and worked perfectly once finished. Highly recommend this complete and ready to use pre-bled brake kit.

Shimano basic hydraulics are The Dream
Easiest kit to install in a hurry, pre-bled and ready to rock. Perfect. It's insane how inexpensive these are, and if you are wondering about the performance compared to the higher end stuff check out the pros who use this model for Rampage. These brakes are super easy to maintain, have excellent modulation, and plenty of locking power for hard cutty slides. The length of the pre-assembled kit was fit my 140/150 trail bike with just enough slack to wind once around the head tube, now I just gotta feed the front brake through the steer tube and I'm bar spin ready. Perfect fit!

Works great for scrubbing speed but...
For use as rear brake it’s ok, wouldn’t want this as my front brake. Mainly just need something that isn’t too twitchy to reduce speed in a sketchy quick turn. For that it actually is great since it won’t take off too much speed if I accidentally grab too hard in a panic. Lol. Bonus: Less skidding means better preserved trails y’all. Update: first crash this thing broke right off. In fairness it was a wallop but I’ve never seen “breaking away” like this since the 1979 movie. Ok? And if I may say so it was a feat on my part to complete the 20 miles of technical uphills and downhills with a single speed, hard tail, front braked, steel bike. Heck ya. Next time: going for one pedal also. Ride on!!!
