Do the Mic controller work with Android phones, such as the Nexus 5?.

I have Marshall Monitor headphones and they work better than anything I've used with a Nexus phone. I'm currently using a Nexus 6P, but I started with the original Google Nexus 1 in 2010. So it's just a guess, but I think you would appreciate the noise cancelling and over the ear creating a clearer environment for your ears. My only complaint about my headphones is that my ears are too big, so as long as you are not 6'2, you should be ok. I'm looking into getting some over sized replacement cups.

Are this comfortable?

They are comfortable but they are a little bit smaller than some other headphones in this category. I personally think some of the higher end Sony and Bose are more comfortable for that reason.

you can replace the cord, use any 3.5mm male to male audio cable. you can plug into either earpiece. the microphone on it isn't really worth anything, the audio quality is amazing and the feature set is great. the cord is crap but luckily it detaches from the headset via a standard 3.5mm jack.
