Exactly what I wanted
Exactly what I wanted. This stuff works great. My Golden Retriever finds a shed with this stuff on it every day before he eats. He will run around the yard or woods with his nose up untill he picks up the sent, then goes directly to the shed even if it is burried in brush or tall grass. Highly recomended

Chapstick sized and waxy chapstick like consistency makes for easy application on the pedicle of the antler I’m using in our scent training.I don’t get any scent off it with my human nose but the dog has tracked it down multiple times. Only been out a couple times and no luck finding a shed in the wild with him but time will tell if it works or not.

Great scent stick for training dogs to hunt shed
The product is being used to scent antlers for training dogs. Only a small amount of scent is needed - one swipe of the stick on the antlers. If too much scent is used the dog can find it offensive and refuse to touch the antler. There is an organization that sanctions competition in locating "shed". The size of this scent, like a tube of chapstick, is perfect for training and not wasting money on a larger size. I purchased one for myself and one for my dog training coach. She is pleased with the size too.

Meh...mixed results!
Went shed hunting and tried applying this wax to my dogs lips to improve our success rate. Very hard to keep the dog still long enough to apply it evenly. If I understand the product correctly, it prevents your dog from getting chapped lips; allowing him to search for antlers longer on adverse or windy days. We did find an antler...but it was a small one and we found it 10 mins from the truck. Was it because of this tube of wax my dog had applied......Don't really know!

Perfect Training Aide
I’ve used this on sheds and also on man made antlers. My young dogs seem to know no difference and perform well with either.A Must Have for positive training.

Product didn't seem to help my dog, but he is a jerk! I have used it on other dogs and it seems to help with them.
