What will it take to stop a war? King Wu's dreams of peacefully transitioning the Earth Kingdom into a democracy are in danger when Commander Guan throws his political hat in the ring, hoping to subvert the new system from the inside out. But playing fair was never part of his plan; Guan and Dr. Sheng are using terrifying new technology to cement Guan's win! In a desperate attempt to save the Earth Kingdom from falling back into the dark days of conquest and empire, Korra and Kuvira convince an old friend to return and take the former commander on in the polls. But will it be enough? Written by series co-creator Michael Dante DiMartino and illustrated by Michelle Wong ( Goosebumps: Download and Die ), with consultation by Bryan Konietzko, this is the ultimate continuation of the beloved television series! Review: I love Michelle Wong (the illustrator for this). Thank you for bringing Korra to life - MICHELLE WONG! What an amazing artist to portray the legend of korra! Comparing ruins to turf wars is almost impossible. The story line and art for ruins (this series) is amazing, immersive, and stunning. I am looking into more of Michelle’s work while I’m at it. Thank you so much for this collection of artists coming together UwU Review: Waiting for the next one with bated breath - I really liked this installment. All the korra comics have been pretty good so far, and I feel pretty good about the art. Spoilers** I'm super loving the whole shtick with the bad guy brainwashing Korra's friends to fight her, it's super fun, and they look so cool and angsty.

LOVE all of TLOK Comics. It’s just so short!!!!!
Please make more!!!!!! Not enough!!!!! All the emotions. All the action. Friendship. Loyalty. Fierce love and connection. It’s got it all except it’s never enough!!! Gosh darn it. I almost don’t want to read the last comic because I know it’s the last one and it’ll come too freaking soon. Sad face.

Great second arc!
The comics of Korra keep getting better, the art is great and the story is very interesting for any LOK / ATLA fan.

Who do these writers think they are, making me cheer for the villain like this?!
Mike and Bryan prove once again that they are masters of the redemption arc. It was a thrill to see all the characters back in full form, and I really felt like I could audiolize all the lines as I read them, like I was hearing them on the show. It—spoilers—kind of falls into the same thing that a lot of Korra storylines do, where it raises all these interesting sociopolitical questions (S1 equality, S2 diplomacy, S3 revolution, S4 nationalism, and in this case, fair elections,) only to resolve them all in a neat little bow with a big ole bending fight at the end. But it's ok, because the choices the characters make about who to help, what to say, and why they did what they did mattered far more, in the end, than who could throw the biggest fireball. I'm super hyped for the Netflix remake, and dream of seeing a third animated Avatar series before too long. (Did someone say, "Near-future Firebender Avatar exploring the consequences of celebrity and the weight of inherited magical responsibilities in the age of having computers in our pockets"??!) But I digress. Your work continues to amaze me, and I look forward to enjoying it in whatever form it takes in the years to come.

The Korrasami dynamic that I never knew I needed
'If you haven't noticed, I hate being around people. What makes you think I want to be of service to them?' There's just something so hot about a [redacted] and rude as hell Asami being reassured by a worried Korra, hee. Can I just say I so appreciate the fact that they had the time to grad Asami just so we could this new and juicy dynamic play out. Truly a Korrasami dynamic that I never knew I needed. They are so marrieds, it's not even funny (me for the 2843879th time probably). God, the characters in this just hit and that, too in just 80 pages, that has to be some kind of a talent. King Wu in that swamp ahsjfl. He's basically how I would be in every single slightly worrying situation, TBH LOL. Toph is incredible as usual and I just couldn't with her being so sarcastic about it all, I love her. Kuvira coming to her sense is so good to see but also, that flashback got me emotional. Anyone could have seen it coming that baby Kuvira was a problematic child but she was also rightfully so guarded and precious? I require an entire book immediately. I'm digging the plot and really curious as to how they'll resolve it, eeee. The art remains 10/10!

A very good book.
A great book to say the least. The storyline is very good. The quality of the book is also very good. A must read for the fans of the original Legend of Korra series.
